just the average questions, How many shots per 12g, how accurate, etc

Accurate enough can be used as a main marker if you want to. Usualy not more than 25 though it usualy won't recock after 22 or 23 shots. You just need to watch out for paint swell jamming the balls in the magazine, soo much fun on humid days.

Unimpressive in all regards as far as I'm concerned. Mine worked okay, but it's nothing special. I figure if I'm going to take the field with a pistol, I want it to be fast to reload and efficient. Accuracy is nice, but the other two are more important, and the Zeus fails miserably in both regards.

I could get 25-27 usable shots on my G1, over 30 total. let me tell you the secret. As soon as you get it, strip it all down, run it under water, oil it, and put in a black magik cup seal.

I clean my Zeus religiously, and it shoots at least 24 accurate shots. What do you mean its not fast to reload? All you gotta do is by a clip and have it read, doesn't take more than 3 seconds to have 10 more balls ready to shoot.

Sure, if you want to spend buy $25 ten-round tubes. I personally couldn't justify that much for what is, essentially, a really small pod.

Now that it is out (which it wasn't on my generation 1 release), just get the speed-cap loader and you'll be set.

I was working on a project with my ACP (Zeus clone) to replace the magazine with a tube to slot a 10-round tube directly into.

Never finished, but it would be nice.

i wonder how hard it would be to get a Phantom style reload port on the back of a zeus mag. i know, i know, messes up the spring feed, but it could be fixed to work.

becuase it open bolt you could just skip the spring feed and rock it (just like the sc feed x-mag WWA had for a while)

SC feed X Mag, pics!

Howdy!
I've been using my zeus G2 as my primary marker for the last year or so including big games like the Michigan Monster game and Tippmann challenge and I really like it. The parts that wear the most(Pierce pin and seal) are compatible with the phantom, whereas the PT and some others use weird seals and pins.
I didn't really start to be a fan of this pistol until I modified the magazine:

This allows me to simply push the spring back- dump balls in- release spring. The flat weaver-top of the zeus makes it easier to pour paint into then the round-top types. This makes reloading paint easy as pie and allows me to hold my own with just the pistol(I do wear a P68SC as backup, in case I need to toss the longball). I didn't have any problem last saturday burning up 400 rounds in six fifteen minute games, you can really put out some paint with this rig.

The weakness in this gun is the threads for the co2 change are in the body. Eventually the gun will be scrap- however, they did make the plug softer than the body so it can be replaced multiple times. I'm on my third plug after 15,000+ rounds and over 700 co2s and the body is still decent.

The Zeus G2 has the tiny little barrel, which gets in the way as you try to work the co2 plug, my next one will be a G1+ or old G1 which would have easier access to the co2 plug in front.

It's not the quality of a squall or sydarm, naturally. It IS a fun gun to play with, however, to the point where I find it hard to give any other of my markers a spin.
