okay guys, Ive got a couple things to go over. As for the person who started this post, yes very immature.. and certainly not the way to handle a problem. Ill apologise first for blowing a gasket. But to see snyde remarks in almost every thread , was quite annoying, and that was the reason for the "instant" ban. As most of you should know by now, were pretty tolarant here, but we wont have one person whos having a hissy fit ruin it for everyone.

As for Crash STP, I will contact him tonight or tommorrow and get an update, so if you bought something and havent recieved it yet, please have patience. It seems many people have the impression that hes running a huge warehouse someplace, and people picking stuff off shelves and tossing them on a truck when an order comes in. That not nearly the case. and while i know he tries to keep a decent amount of product in stock, there are times when he simply has to wait for the manufacturer to ship in the goods, which in turn creates a delay for the buyer. And much of this product is produced only in limited quanties, so if your order falls between production runs, it can also cause delays.
I mail order stuff from various places quite often, and the average shipping time is six to eight weeks, and some of those places actually are huge warehouses with pickers and packers.. so IMHO, Crash Landing is still way below the curve.
but the important thing is to remember that your dealing with somebody who actually does give a dam about your order, and will help you when you need it, and answer your questions. And this is why SCP.Com stands behind Bob and Crash Landing Paintball 100%..
I can promise you one thing, Crash STP wants to get you order as fast as possible, but keeping up on the communication isnt easy for a small operation, especially when you have to do everything yourself. so all i can say is i know hes working on that issue.

Do it to it Mav, this board is one of the few true paintball sanctuaries on the web, can't let it get contaminated like the rest.

I used to own a shop and let me tell ya it aint no ray of sunshine. The people you order stuff from at "wholesale cost" also have internet retail sites of their own, so they undercut you on price. They also get first pic on the good hot items, so you have to wait if something is selling like hotcakes. They also inturn don't really care about the shop owner and half the time you ask for one thing they send another...it's good enough for them.

There are a few suppliers and several manufacturers that do care and do try, but they tend to have the production run and limited quantity problems Mav was talking about. What makes everything else hard is you don't exactly get rich from doing this. Profit on a phantom is like $30, and that doesn't cover the shipping or the minimum orders you have to have. After I was open at a retail location for 4 years I made $20k profit. (I took in almost a million $ in sales) Thats $416 a month not exactly retirement range.

Basicly, give Crash a break and the benefit of the doubt. It's hard to answer questions and do all the other things you need to do, especially when you go out of town you come back to a HUGE inbox.

Sorry guys as you could probaly imagine im very nervous about sending money overseas,
Seeing a few people starting to talk about products not being sent when there money is received is not very good from where i stand.
Also just not hearing back from numerious emails,posts ect has left me wondering
if ive been had..
If im wrong (please god let me be) then ill be a happy man but if im not ill be $250 down with nothing to show for it..

Don't worry t, Crash is an upstanding guy, honest and honorable. You haven't been had. I'm sure Mav will post an update soon which will explain the current situation.

As I have said elsewhere I was at the IAO all of last week where I had no internet access and at the end even my cell phone crapped out on me. While I wish I had someone to cover for me while I'm gone I don't as I am a 1 man operation and can only cover one base at a time.
For those of you I have not contacted or replied to yet - look for it soon as I'm still downloading the 2000+ e-mails from my absence and I will get to you ASAP.
As far as the user "crashsux" / Drew - I will be asking Maverick to reinstate him to the boards as he had a valid gripe and just went about it wrong. I screw up, forget stuff and everything else that goes along with being human - plus I tend to overload myself rather than not putting and keeping so many irons in the fire.
Please realize that while I run the store it really doesn't make all that much of a profit - some weekes it will buy me lunch at McD's at best - some times better. Also besides that I have a job, family and other commitments like IAO for Action Markers. I try and do my best but my best advice to people unsatisified with my attempt is to deal with your local shop where you can do a face to face with them
