Title: Calling All Marshals
Description: anybody out there?

Maverick - February 15, 2011 03:23 AM (GMT)
Okay, so jim m called me awhile back but i havent heard from him or Missy since.

While i was updating the mainsite, I noticed the marshals home site is gone...

I might be able to help with this, but have no idea what the current status of the marshals is?

Do the Marshal need a new home on the web?

whats the deal?

I'm still the Massachusetts 'Co-Co-ordiantor', but the Marshalls have been all but 'defunct' in the last few years. There is some rumor of a 'revival' this Spring, but we'll see, as things go in that organization, it may just remain a rumor.
But fear not, there is a HUGE Stock-Class group drawing players for monthly games from Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Conneticut in Methuen MA, just minutes from the NH border on Private Property. This is a 'Bring your own everything' game, and all we ask is to police up your trash and leave your attitude at home. Out gracious host often opens his home to us for barbequeing, or pizza and more. The group is extremely tight and games average around 30 players. We've even done some charity work, raising over $700.00 for the Western Mass Food Bank last fall. If you're interested in joining us, please PM me for an invite, date and directions.
As 'Marshalls' information trickles down, I will post it for all interested.
As always, I am at your service and ready to sling paint. :)

Good to hear from you Shootist!

I am happy to hear there is still some activity and planning going on, and have hope that any difficulties in the past few years have been overcome and The Marshals are the road to rebuilding.

I will help in any way I can to get the word out for events, just let me know.

GREAT, thanks Mav. Yes, Stock Class in the Northeast has grown in leaps and bounds in the last five or six years. The NEPL has a pump division, and there's the Gravity League also, which is excellent. Almost all the parks up here in the frozen north, (70+ inches of snow in Boston this year so far.....even more up north) are becoming more and more 'Pump Friendly'. The sluggish economy has been the driving factor, but with the re-release of the Trracer, the Sterling and offerings from CCM and Metadyne as well as CCI, Palmer's and 'The Bay' moving tons of pumps daily, as well as Carter Machine and as I hear it Bob Long, we pumpers have been vindicated-the market proves it-we're here and we're being heard and catered to, and hoardes of others are putting down their electro-whatzits and playing pump. Great times lay ahead for us, and lots of new products for us to play with. :D

Yup... What the shootist said. Things are looking good up here in the North East for pump.

I'm still the New Hampshire Coordinator for the Marshalls, and we still put together "pump events", have gatherings, etc.

Granted, they are not solely under the Marshall's banner anymore, but we've been doing what we can to keep pump growing, and grow it has.

The last Gravity League event last year, was a HUGE hit with 11 teams participating in a limited paint, paintball tournament with pump guns.

Anyhow...

Pump is alive and well.

in New York, the last I knew, Meph was still State Coordinator, with me being co-coordinator.
