So I finally found some time (and cash) to get out and play some ball this weekend. I went Sunday. It turns out that it was not just an ordinary day of paintball. There was actually a big game/scenario going on that day. Lucky me :D . "Operation Iraqi Freedom" I chose to play as an Iraqi. Bottom line: I had a ton of fun, my phantom performed amazingly (as usual) The Americans came out on top due to a pretty stacked final mission (involving fish, a barrel and some dynamite... We were the fish <_< ) However, the scenario staff was very good, and most everyone had a blast. Big props to Apocalypse Paintball. I will be returning to play there when I next get a chance. Didn't see any other pumpers out there, but I got some encouraging comments from those who saw me holding my own with only 15 shots in my gun.
If anyone is in the area, I would recommend trying to make it out to Apocalypse to play for a day. Especially on Sundays. They have free lunch on most every Sunday (spicy spaghetti and meatballs) If you do plan on making it out there, hit me up, and I'll try and meet you out there. (Spread the pump influence!)
I'm black and blue all over, but I am still smiling. I remember why I love this game.
