I've got a mid-90s "space gun" (stock class comp, but with the 12g changer attached at an angle to the trigger guard) and it's got quite a bit of heft to it.
I actually like the weight without a stock, because it seems to track and aim better.

I like the weight of the gun when swinging while aquiring targets. The gun is easier to stop on target as opposed to a lightweigt set up. I feel it does make a difference on accuracy, especially on the second or third rapid fire shot.
Makes me miss my old Comp. Nice shooter there!
