rathbaster - July 11, 2003 11:08 PM (GMT)
According to a statistic I saw somewhere, the peak age catagory for paintballers is 22-25. After that its the "Right Side of the curve." I suspect that if everyone who is a member here voted, we'd find a lot of us on that right side of the curve. :)

1ball1fall - July 12, 2003 12:09 AM (GMT)
i m 14

Pyrate Jim - July 12, 2003 12:40 AM (GMT)

monkeyman - July 12, 2003 01:38 AM (GMT)
interesting the statistics as of now are mostly 14 year olds and 30-39 year olds
hmmmmmmm................ raises some questions about people who play pum/stockclass (we are the only ones in thier right minds i mean)

juxstapo - July 12, 2003 03:05 AM (GMT)
19 and smitten with the haunting feeling that somewhere along the way I missed something, perhaps I wasn't rebellious enough... oh well. Back on topic.

easix6 - July 12, 2003 03:39 AM (GMT)

Just turned 16.

SCB9989 - July 12, 2003 04:24 AM (GMT)
I Think I am the youngest. I will be 14 in a year, meaning I just turned 13. I am also the youngest full- time pump player at my field.

MNpumper - July 12, 2003 04:35 AM (GMT)

Maverick - July 12, 2003 01:04 PM (GMT)
Shuffles feet, mumbles, scratches head, subtracts d.o.b from 2000, adds 3.5.. that cant be right... double checks numbers.. crys a bit and announces , grudgingly, that im 34.5 years old.. whats the old saying? old enough to know better but young enough not to care?? ,,, :D

Pyrate Jim - July 12, 2003 01:38 PM (GMT)
Growing old is inevitable,
Growing up is optional.

amhildreth - July 12, 2003 03:06 PM (GMT)
just turned 35, but dag-nabbit, I can still make the '50 off the break (if I don't break anything in the process) :D

monkeyman - July 14, 2003 02:41 AM (GMT)
damn in my haste i forgot to mention how old i was. im 30. and i must say its a great age to be. i am old enough to afford to play paintball as much as possible, and young enough to shake off the pains of playing quickly enough for the next time. :D

Finnigan - July 14, 2003 01:05 PM (GMT)
"Younger than my town and older than my teeth."

I'm 32.

easix6 - July 14, 2003 07:47 PM (GMT)
As stated earlier...I am 30...and it still takes me at least 3 days to recover from a 7 hour bout of paintball play.... To think, when I was still a cop at 28 I was still running 3-5 miles a day and benching 275... Now I'm 507, 205 and a freakin' nurse....funny the turns in life. By the way...I could maybe run a mile now if my life depended on it...<grins> and the bench...maybe 190 if my life depended on it. Just goes to show what a sedentary life does to you....but ah the olden days...the days before Norvasc and Lipitor....

I'm with the rest of the 'old' boys here, 32 and counting.
If I had to run (I'm mean really run) more than a couple blocks I'd toss a lung and need new knee caps when I collapsed at the end.
At least when I shave my wife still thinks I look like kid. :D

Pyrate Jim - July 14, 2003 09:28 PM (GMT)
Waaaiiit a minute....

Out of 35 votes, I'm the only one in the 40's?

Where are you, Shootist? You gotta save my wrinkled butt here..

:vangry: <--Grumpy old man

TouchofGrey - July 16, 2003 12:41 AM (GMT)
Ok. I'm 47. I can still get my gun up and play with my balls. Been playing with my Nelspot since 1984.

Can still run and shoot real good.

Can't do big hills anymore, like in Coventry on the 5th.

Ok, who's older and still playing?

Pyrate Jim - July 16, 2003 12:47 AM (GMT)
Hey Greylocks!
You got me beat in both age and experience, -_- .

But I got longer hair!

Chubbie - July 16, 2003 01:00 AM (GMT)
I'll be 30 on Friday :)

TouchofGrey - July 16, 2003 01:23 AM (GMT)
Hey Pyrate, I thought you and I were the same age.

Sigh, to be young again and have long hair like Pyrate!

But alas, I'm not bald. ;)

p8ntguykenny - July 16, 2003 02:13 AM (GMT)
Wow... a lot of old parts play pump :P

Davinci - July 16, 2003 02:28 AM (GMT)
30 here....remember when it was only pumps.
But on the upside I bring the average age of my tourney team up to legal drinking age.

Finnigan - July 16, 2003 06:11 PM (GMT)

I'll never be as old as you. :D

I was born in '56, I won't hit 47 till Nov.
And really, the hair is part of the pirate thing, like the chanties and the Pirates Alphabet that Neal recited for us.

comovartia - July 16, 2003 10:56 PM (GMT)
I'll be 34 in Aug(hence the birthday bash at camp paintball. See events)
Almost never do I play on a day when I have to work the next morning.
Except today. Boy it will hurt in the morning. I hope the boss isn't expecting me to get much work done. :D

monkeyman - July 17, 2003 01:54 AM (GMT)
