O.k. get ready cause here it comes, you are about to get an overdose of discussion.

Terd and Sheazer PM me asap,

want to talk sponsorship turkey with ya'll.

the underdog - September 18, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Alright, after a short break, the next set of businesseseses.

if you consider yourself part of Team 3EV, there are certain requirements being established. nothing to binding, but the proper thing to do.

If you are 3EV you need to have links in your sig. These links include GAS, II Sports, and PBall Hill. and if we sign on with JT, then them too.

if you need help then ask, but lets get it done. These guys are doing alot for us and more importantly; the Revolution, lets give them proper representation. thanks.

also we are at a point where we need to fully potentiate our abilities to represent these companies. We need certain things done and done soon. (soon being relative to our daily life commitments.)

We need to find someone to do vinyl graphics for our banner. I think Matt B. knows a guys who can hook us up. lets flex that hookup and get I&I, GAS, and Pball hill on there.

We need someone with basic myspace abilities to make sure we update our links, i'll give that a try but i'm a myspace neanderthal. see caveman pic courtesy of terd... <_< :bang:

we need someone who is a grand wizard webmaster to hook us up on a basic level on our website. we need links to our sponsors/supporters in the least.

we'll need ninja photoshop skillz when it comes to getting our jerseys hooked up. logos in certain formats and all that.

lets make the commitment to re-building our infastructure, and get it setup right. Les Do'it!

holla,

UD!

talked to Vic. he's down with the JT sponsorship.

whose next to pipe in?

Good evening gentlemen. Just wanted to give you a headsup. Might want to keep exactly what your sponsers are offering you out of the publics eye. That way other people dont ask for what you have "by name" and make the sponsers unhappy with you. Talking about it in general terms is a good idea... but posting the exact amounts in a public forum may give you grief later on down the road. Spoken from experiance mind you. :)

Good luck getting the hookups. Us poor paintballers need all the help we can get. ;)

the underdog - September 19, 2008 03:27 AM (GMT)
thanks for the heads up stl, i guess with the new couch and fridge i got a little too comfortable in the new diggs.

Chemical X - September 19, 2008 08:35 AM (GMT)
Congrats on your potential sponsorship. You all have worked very hard for this and you definitly have earned it.

BonzaI 187 - September 19, 2008 01:01 PM (GMT)
you've had your own forum for like less than two days, and now you already have a sponsor <_< B) thats cool.

QUOTE

not quite :) there is the potential for some representation for JT if that's how the team wants to go...

STL, once again thanks for the heads up brotha, don't want to display bad form, as you can see i'm quite the rookie at this. Any advice you and your crew can give in regards to how best represent those that support is indeed welcomed.

ChemX- thanks bro, we appreciate it. You've been very good to the pump community, and have allowed us to use the site as a means of communication for the team. We owe a lot to you and the site for putting up with us, and putting us up. Thank you!

Chemical X - September 19, 2008 07:19 PM (GMT)
If you decide to take the sponsorship make sure to keep us in the loop.

Sheazer - September 20, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
I'm down for it Jeff, and if it's cool with Mav and all, I woulda mind tossing a SCP logo on the jerseys too. SCPs done a lot for me besides talking paintball and I'm grateful for being a part of it.

Sheazer - October 1, 2008 05:00 AM (GMT)
So I been sitting around online for the last two days doing nothing and bored - and I hear nothing of this! Shens! Jeff - I'm off the next two days, I'll call ya or call me, all I got to do is indulge in beverages!

the underdog - January 5, 2009 04:41 AM (GMT)
All right fellas, we've picked up Action Paintball as a sponsor. details of said sponsorship can be discussed via pm or phone call.

We all need to put a link to them in our signatures asap. I'll be updating the myspace page to better represent our sponsors, but may need some help as i'm on a very basic level with myspace.

the underdog - February 4, 2009 01:17 AM (GMT)
WHAT CAN I DO?

Alright, so this post is called, what can i do. Ask not what your team and sponsors can do for you, but what you can do for your team and sponsors.

Alrighty then, so what can we do and what can you do,

Sponsors-

1. Obviously the best thing we can do is to bring our sponsors money/business. How do you do that? The first thing we can do is actively bring people to the field. I know i've witnessed just about everyone of us on one day or another introducing the team to some1 you brought. Make sure either you or they tell James and Chris who brought them. Same thing for AP, any1 you tell to go there, tell them to tell who sent them.

2. Help in ways that can help bring business. What skills do you have that are in need by that sponsor. Outside of my job and a once in a while decent shot on the field, my skills are limited, but we all have something we can contribute to. Integrate your hobbies or natural abilities to helping out. If your creative, create some $hit. If your not, then eff you and figure out ways to help :)
We are in the process for creating some promotional stuff for some of our sponsors/supporters, and we all need to be thinking how we can help.

3. Spread word of mouth/promote- Every chance you get, pimp our sponsors. Sometimes you have to search for ways to pimp, but do it. You hear any kid at the field talk about needing something hit them up, tell'em AP can get them what they need. You hear a cat at work talking about his son or stepson and wanting to do something fun with them, what's the funnest thing in the world? PIMP OUR FIELD. Once again we are working with ways to help promote our peeps, but we need every1 actively making things happen.

Marinate on that for a bit...

TEAM-

More coming soon...

brokenzipper - February 4, 2009 02:10 AM (GMT)
need to set up a good time/date to make the G.A.S safety video, and our sashes :D

the underdog - February 4, 2009 03:35 PM (GMT)
Good call! that's what i'm talking about!

the underdog - February 4, 2009 11:54 PM (GMT)
As a matter of fact, i'll bring my camera on saturday.

what kinds of things should a safety video incorporate? we need a list of the basic field rules, but what can we do to make it entertaining yet informative?

clips of action? examples of do's and don'ts? who here wants to get shot in the eye? 1...2...3...Not it!

also who should host it? James or Chris? one of us? does anybody know anyone famous, and i mean cool famous, not just anybody...like Gary Busey or something. :) I am not hosting/narating it. I'm working the camera and editing it, so who else wants to step up? BZip is pretty camera friendly...

This is our new priority! les do it!

D~ - February 5, 2009 12:15 AM (GMT)
You guys are so cool. I see an awesome "safety" vid being done by you fellas.

Do's and Dont's would be sweet and can be made funny........but then again it is a safety video......

NOT IT! As for the list of rules, there is a BIG list right at the building there. I vote victor as the narrator. If he is not available, then maybe jessie. :) If it is not alot of camera time, but voices, i can narrate.
Can you get a CPR dummy (dummy may not be PC) to catch the eye-shot?

and i still want sash!

the underdog - February 7, 2009 12:46 AM (GMT)
Cool, cool. we'll talk to chris and geiger and see what they have to say!

Go here

Raise your hand if you've never heard of this site.

If you haven't, then its mostly Jeff's fault, but a little bit of my fault. Its time we get this up and running.

We need inputs, suggestions, comments...... But mostly, we need some one that is good at html code type stuff to manage it.

I have created what you see based off of a template, but that is the extent of my abilities.

We need to revamp the sponsorship links page, with better links and better descriptions.

I have attempted to us paypal links to sell our T-shirts, but I was unsuccessful at creating a realistic store front.

Lets talk about ways to force people to visit this site and see all of our sponsors logos on every page. In the past myself and Jeff have brainstormed about using the site to host all of our videos, and make them only viewable from the site. the same with all of our pictures. One of the best possibilities is to make the site a "store front" for 3EV gear, and only payable through the 3EV site.

Now everyone dig deep into their gray matter and lets brainstorm

the underdog - March 9, 2009 06:46 PM (GMT)
So i talked to Chris and Geiger and James and Perras...

Geiger wants me to hold off on making the video, so we'll still get some ideas and clips together in case we're needed.

But we have got to figure out a way to help get that field under control, safety is a still a big issue, and i don't want to be embarressed if some1 gets shot in the eye when my girlfriend Mel from CCM visits me in june ;)

So other than the video, here's where we stand with stuffeses:

Jerseys- I called e2e today and keven is suppossed to call me back when he gets in later. we'll see if he's still on board with the jersey thing, if not we're on the hunt for another jersey maker, although i'd love to give e2e a try. we'll see!

Website-Lazarus has graciously stepped up and will be heading up that aspect once terd takes the finger cuffs of ken's fingers and gives him access! :P

MySpace-still the same, will get on it soon enuff.

Sponsor Appreciation-
a.)We finally got an appreciation plaque up at GAS in the building (check it out), and i'm in the process of making one for AP and then I&I and then Sportraits. (I nominate UDog)

b.) promo video for Sportraits is almost done, i just need some non pball pics to sprankle in there. (I nominate UDog)

Stickers-i need someone to investigate a sticker source. We need stickers in a bad way! we'll need about 50-100 depending on price. 2.5inchesx3inches would be perfect (as they need to fit on a ten round tube without overlapping too much)
These are not to be vinyl graphics but real deal stickers. (I nominate Terd or BZip)

Communication- we need some1 to investigate a free or inexpensive ventrilo type thing (I nominate Terd or BZip)

El Chingon what you good at? (Drinking beer doesn't count) do you know any1 who makes stickers?

Holla back and keep us updated to how things are going!

I'd love to be able to snap my fingers and make everything happen at once, but unfortunately i don't know magic; and my time is limited so i can only have the energy to do so much. Which is why i need everyone to step up and take an active roll in making us better, faster, stronger, cooler B) . I want to see everyone's pride in 3EV, by helping 3EV tie up our loose infrastructure ends!

thank you for your time and attention!

now get to work or you're going in the box!

Sheazer - March 9, 2009 09:57 PM (GMT)
Lemme know what I can do to help guys, if theres something you want me to loong into (stickers or whatever) I can start hunting down some companies and get some quotes (I think theres a local company around here that some local teams have used, I'll see whats up). Otherwise I await pictures/videos of you guys playing because I can't!

thejayare - March 10, 2009 12:27 AM (GMT)
Alright, got the sponsors in my sig. Sorry, looks like this thread was started during my absence.

brokenzipper - March 10, 2009 01:12 AM (GMT)
VENTRILO: theres is the best. I have used typefrag before and it is clear, reliable and private.

FREE Public Server: as stated, free, public server. yes it is free, yes anyone (even james) can get in and listen.

Im looking into stickers. can someone in clarksville call or stop by Signs Now on ft campbell bvld across from hardees? I have a customer who makes stickers professionally, but i cant remember his name for sh!t. trying to recall it, and i pass places like that all the time in the field, ill investigate further.
