i don't even have one of those and thinks it cool, but the first thing i thought was "man, they need an extension clip for those!" :)

makes me want one more and more.

Its gotta be awkward to use too. I understand its usefulness but I dont think it can be wielded anywhere near as easily as the std mag, on that note id like to see a 10-12 round mag instead.

As long as you're playing in an open area this would be sweet, but in the brush, it'd be like carrying a grappling hook around  .

I worry about how strong they'll be with the slot down the sides.
I'm sure they won't be too bad, though.

With the way they are built it looks as if they can have a different extension added. Perhaps one could be cut down.

turbo chicken - June 23, 2008 05:22 AM (GMT)
^ makes sense.... still akward though... the clip would be on the verge of being longer than the gun.... and still can't load easily from... oh wait... drill a hole in it at the bottom... and you could make it "quickload" per say... intersting!

"it'd be like carrying a grappling hook around"

A whole new way to take EMR's castle :P Ninja tac-8

I'd have to get some mission impossible theme for my MP3 player speakered up to play as I climb!

Chemical X,
It replaces the whole bottom of the mag but it should be possible to cutoff the tube end and shorten it up.

its a bite to long. base on what AgentSmith if is little to long just got to get use to it

I think it would have been better if they extended it slightly to 10 rounds, then had some way to add more balls to it without removing the magazine.

Like some little trap door or something. Just not sure how that would work with the spring tension...

I've thought for bloody days on how to put a speedgate on a spring feed. The automag sydarm had a niffty idea but you get no increased reload time because the balls don't fall in fast enough. regardless you'll need to reset the spring everytime until someone figures out a better way

I agree, 10-12 rnds would have been perfect.
17?! Strange number.

Man, that is cool. I'm gonna pick one of these up and try it out soon, looks like a neat idea. Only bad thing about it would be swapping it into a pouch for transport, i'm sure it doesnt fit in the regular clip harnesses, the speedfeed mentioned above would be a killer mod.
