Title: Full auto zeus.

Inferno - June 27, 2004 04:35 PM (GMT)
Working on a project to make my zeus full auto. Should be pretty easy just need to find a way to jam the trigger in the forward position so it will stay down.

What zeus do you have?

EDIT: Nevermind I just saw your other post

um, you can with a small pin (it might break though) BUT your velocity will drop AND you risk freezing the gun after rapid fire.

Secondly, if you use a pin, you have NO control after pulling the trigger. It will fire until you dump the 10rds and then continue to fire until the 12gram is empty.

My ptx goes on full auto mode once and a while and it's annoying. It's not worth it.

my plan is to mod the trigger so that the two parts are always touching. In theory this should give me complete control over the firing of the gun.

can I make one small suggestion? don't mess around your zeus! Get a PTx, and experiment with that one first.

Your Zeus is better made then most other semi-pistols (ptx's, delta's etc.). It would probably be better to see if the mod works on a junk pistol before you do that on a pistol that works :)

Of course, it's your gun. Just don't forget to post pics of your trigger mod and a video (if possible) of it going full auto :D

Both zeuses are hosed right now. One by me one by a friend. So while I'm waiting for armotech to get back to me on whether they are willing to a factory re-furb I'm just messing around with them.

I dont know that much about the zeus. What i do know is that they are blow backs just like a spyder. If you allow the bolt and hammer to cycle freely i believe it cycles at least 30-40 BPS. Unless that magazine can feed really fast probley not the best idea in the world. To get an idea on how fast it cycles put a reg on a blow back and turn the pressure down until it wont re-cock anymore allowing it to cycle freely. its fast i would almost say to fast.

yup did it on my tippmann 98, i had control over the trigger, but it did 16 cycles even after my finger was of the trigger. and not to effiecent

Don't pistols drain 12 grams faster when you fire quickly?

yes, the Co2 cant expand fast enough.

Chem-X
I think 1-3 seconds is best, But in a game I will do what it takes
