Title: Chicago Tournament - Oct. 10

Helmet - June 19, 2004 07:29 PM (GMT)
Sorry to start another thread on this but we need feedback asap.

O.K., the story is Blowfish, Flipped Out, Flipped Out Too, Rare Breed (and possibly more) are all OSC so cal teams that want to play in this tourney and are more than willing to travel.

Problem: There hasn't been much action on this thread and so the level of commitment of east coast teams is being called into question. We have already looked into hotels, flights, etc. but if we are going to lay out the expense we want to know that you guys are going to show.

All of us on these forums have wanted to see the coasts come together and compete and this is the best opportunity we have seen so far in that we are ready to fly out. But we need to see the east coast step up and give us a commitment.

We need to see Grief. We need to see Texas. And we need to see twenty teams.

So what's it gonna be? Will this be the monumental east coast meets west coast meets Texas showdown we have all been waiting for. Or have the east coasters just been yankin' our chain?

West coast has put out the challenge, my bruthas. Are you gonna step up, or what?

Also, Tyger, the teams out here all run three-man. Any chance on it being a three man tourny? It would make travel for us easier and you would get more teams. Just checking.

5 Man is the way to get the cash prizes. It's not really my event, I'm just the messenger as it is.

I posted this around, and much to my pleasure I'm seeing other people pick up the news and pass it along. That's cool. I heard someone say they forwarded it to TG, but no word yet. I'll try a few things myself.

And don't worry, looks like the Chicago pumpers will be stepping up to the plate. Still, your best bet is to call the field and get info from them.
