Chemical X - October 6, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
Sorry for not giving a gray area, but I am out to take a census of general opinion.

Thank you for your time.
Ben

Be Nice - October 6, 2007 03:50 AM (GMT)
I'll get in here later lol. The poll shows he cares guys. ;) :D

brycelarson - October 6, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
Love this place - good people, adult(ish) conversation and great info. Also the best deals on PB stuff anywhere (don't tell anyone).

turbo chicken - October 7, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
Chem Chem ... I like SCP ... This place rocks ....

crazyorigin - October 7, 2007 04:03 PM (GMT)
this is a good clean friendly place. I really dont even frequent any other forums unless its to sell a specialty item on like AO or something. SCP is my home on the net.

Billy6977 - October 8, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
Chem I think you and the rest of the Mods are doing a great job on keeping the house in order while Mave and Cargo are away. Keep up the Outstanding job.

PhileyOFish - October 8, 2007 12:57 AM (GMT)
I think SCP is a very friendly and open pump forum. I'm happy with SCP. :bang:

10-shot kid - October 9, 2007 07:53 AM (GMT)
I vote yes

octane89 - October 10, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
definitely well managed, keep up the great work.

Chemical X - October 12, 2007 10:06 PM (GMT)
So who is voting no, and why?

Basically I cant fix it if I dont know whats wrong.

crazyorigin - October 13, 2007 04:44 PM (GMT)
Yes, i was wondering the same thing. I hope people arent just voting no for S's and G's. I dont see anything wrong with this site at all. It is well moderated and has some cool people that frequent it. I'm sure if there is a legitimate reason people arent happy someone would do their best to remedy it.

Mike31?? :o

It's either here or MCB for me and occasionaly to AO when I need something to do with my mags.

The only complaint is sometimes it's really slow on here but, I sure that it makes it easier to keep the nice atmosphere around here.

All the mods a reasonable and do a good job. Thanks

amhildreth - November 12, 2007 11:11 AM (GMT)
I'd vote yes as well, but I might be more than a bit biased... :P

Pyrate Jim - November 14, 2007 01:44 AM (GMT)
Me votes Yes, because I'm not biased.

Hell, I'm just thankful this place exists. There are relatively few forums catering to a community as exclusive as Stock Class Paintball.
I consider everyone here part of my extended (online paintball) family.

PUMPA4LYF3 - November 14, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
I voted yes. I use to go to peanut butter nation alot but there was to much flameing and unless u were a fast shooting paint-wiping tourny boy u couldnt catch a brake.
then i went to Spec ops paintball but that place is kinda useful there more there to sell there products than help the general pb community
and finally i came here a nice friendly pb community that alway tries to help out people no matter what

The Scout - November 22, 2007 04:14 AM (GMT)
This is the best forum I've ever been on. I know I'm not as close as some of you guys are, but this place is still the nicest paintball community I've ever been a part of. And you guys all know just about any question I might have. Usually you get friendly or you get knowledgable, rarely both.

Demonio - November 24, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
I voted yes.

I can say that SCP has not yet completly recovered from the crash last year, it'll take some time but SCP keeps to it's format. That's why this is still the first place I come to when I log on.

All the mods are doing a great job keeping this place in good working order, and the community continues to remain a very cool group.

SEKTape - November 26, 2007 04:28 AM (GMT)
I voted yes. The only thing even bordering on a concern that I have is that the search feature isn't really working, but that goes back to the crash, I think. I'm very happy with SCP.

splatwithhonor3 - December 2, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Actually, the search feature has never worked as long as I've been here. Thats my only minor complaint. SCP is great, and pretty much the only forum I frequent anymore.

wispaintstyle - December 3, 2007 02:38 AM (GMT)
This one one of the only two forums I belong to that have enough activity. The other one is airsoft retreat. Most forums on the web see very little traffic. theres something magical here, and I like it.

Omega Chief - December 7, 2007 11:10 PM (GMT)
Of all the forums I have ever seen, nothing can compare to the individuals that reside here at SCP. I truly feel that amongst the dedicated membership here, are some marvelous examples of all that is good when it comes to humanity.

I can see myself having quite an enjoyable time hanging out with many of the members here, and discussing whatever comes to mind (many of the OT topics would be marvelous). And if I ever was across the country and in bad shape, if I needed a place to stay, you bet I wouldn't be afraid to come here asking for some help.

That's something I could never say in regards to another forum.

That is very true. I feel the same way.

undividedattention - August 18, 2008 12:41 AM (GMT)
i feel much better buying and selling with the members here. There is a much higher caliber of player and person here I believe

amhildreth - August 18, 2008 01:05 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the feedback so far. If anyone has any complaints or dislikes about the site, please don't be afraid to post it. We can't fix what we don't know about.

crazyorigin - August 20, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
maybe the text on some of the "Pinned" threads should be made larger, or more obvious, as people tend to overlook them. It may help to bring more attention to them, as i tend to pass over them myself unless there is something new that catches my eye.

asassin8 - August 22, 2008 01:08 PM (GMT)
im happy with scp, every thing but this one thing...
does it make any one else angry or irritated to see non pup guns or non pump related equipment on here? for some reason it just pisses me off to see any manner of semi on this site. i know that its a family based wed site, where we are the example, and we are supposed to be friendly to every one. but come on! this is a site for pump players, pump guns and pump equipment. no one cares about your new dm8 or what ever!! im so tired of seeing semis on here. take you photos, pats and guns else where. like a place that has something to do with semis.
suddenly i feel like im going to stand alone on this but i don't care. i just wanted to get that off my horns. i wanted to post this in the s.c. centeral but i wasnt sure how you would like that.
thanks for reading,
asassin8

BonzaI 187 - August 22, 2008 01:32 PM (GMT)
I second this. It doesn't piss me off, then again it takes a lot to piss me off, but I do share the same opinion.

Chemical X - August 22, 2008 02:37 PM (GMT)
Aye...

While I cant banish semis and the like I can do a better job of coralling them into the snakepit. And further encourage pics and such to be within that zone.

turbo chicken - August 22, 2008 03:02 PM (GMT)
i ask sometimes why people post there semi's here also... but it only slightly irks me...

most of the regulars already post their semi stuff in the semi snakepit anyway's ... so eh ... let em show off their semi's ... a lot of us play both anyways

Clearush - August 22, 2008 03:15 PM (GMT)
I only add them to the mix when I'm posting the whole stash of markers that I have.

But I have no problem banishing semi only picture threads to the snake pit.

I think it shows that most of the stockers tend towards being balanced and not to elitist which sometimes is the impression that we can give to new people.

Meph - September 3, 2008 10:18 PM (GMT)
I voted No.

You asked if we are happy with SCP, not just the invisionfree forum. I know I'm not the only one who has noticed but the main site, as in everything else but the forum, is pretty stale. I think I saw the last update there when we lost the missing link a couple million years ago. Back when TM was having a Mid-Life Crisis. ;)

We need to do a major update to SCP and breathe some new life into it. So that not just the forum will attract people, because the forum is a double edged sword that also drives some people away. With an evolving and updated front page and some more topics and info there people might keep coming back even if they were put off by the forum.

Demonio - September 4, 2008 04:59 PM (GMT)
I'll have to agree with that as well. But isn't updating/re-vamping the site in the works right now?
I have personally been busy with life but find myself strolling around here less than I used to. Some of it is just trying to avoid seeing what I want to buy in the b/s/t threads :P - everything seems to get re-hashed and some of the newer members do bring in they're semi life into the main area instead of the snakepit where it should be. It doesn't urk me so much about semi stuff being around but it does have it's place here in the pit - and I know that's already been acknowledged so I don't know why I had to say anything about it..... maybe cause I have't posted here in a while ;)

I still like it here and it's my go to place to try to find something interesting about pump play.

Chemical X- You rock and I know how hard it can be at times to take care of a forum. Keep up the good work

Chemical X - September 4, 2008 05:05 PM (GMT)
Thanks demonio.

Ok heres a question.

Should a gallery be made within the snake pit?

Heres another one.

Should there be a BST as well?

Maybe, don't know if it would get used.

no, not enough postings/traffic anyways, nothing gets lost unless its up for more than a week or two.

Chemical X - September 11, 2008 06:09 AM (GMT)
Well there is now a gallery in the snakepit.

If you find stuff that needs moved there dont hesitate to PM me a link. I am sure I missed a few things but its getting late. I hope this is a good improvement to our little forum. Oh yeah the snakepit is still unable to be seen by guests (non members) so it does help to detract people who just want to look at or talk about semi's. However once they register/sign in its visible.

Just an FYI.

turbo chicken - September 26, 2008 08:01 PM (GMT)
NO the spam situation sucks!!! :P lol ...

peace out

TC

Chemical X - September 26, 2008 08:24 PM (GMT)
The only way to mostly cure the situation is by individual approval. Which means checking everyday or sometimes a few times a day. Still though I get busy and forget sometimes and sometimes I forget several days in a row. . Having mod approval really slows down new members joining.

Murf had sent me a PM earlier about those optical tests being put into the registration process. Really I want to do that and have looked into it many times, I did not find anyone with the code to do so in the IF area or at least they werent willing to come off the code.

turbo chicken - September 26, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
i'm willing to assist with approving peeps if you need the help... what better to do while enjoying a frosty beverage... i'm sure with 2 people's hand in the pot that we'll have pretty even coverage.

we could also try something a little more lame... like answer a question or something like that... i forget who does it... but they just had something like answer the question What is 12+7.... get the answer right and access granted.

Think we have someone that can figure this out? check out the linky

so is the current security code thingy not working then? ...hmmmm

Auryn Jounin - September 27, 2008 03:59 AM (GMT)
this place is great for sure. but maybe a little updating of pictures, new articles, & tournaments. other than that its great!!
