hey gang,
I'm new to the board and relatively new to p-ball. I have always liked the STP mentality, and I hope that with some help, I'd like to bring the mindset to semi players. What I have come up with is a sort of "stock class conversion" I am using 12g co2 on my spyder and I am hopefully going to get my hands on some 10rd loaders to fool around with hopper systems. What do you guys think? Would this sell? Would these even qualify for Stock class semi? Is there a collection of rules for SCS?

I dont think there is a set of rules for stock class semi, this is just where we talk about guns with 10 round spring tubes and 12 grams.

Have you actualy chrono'd out the spyder with a 12 gram attached to see what kind of efficiency your getting - how many shots do you get off before it drops below 250 or 240?? As for selling it probably not.

I am unable to answer your question about ball speed as of yet, but I get anywhere from 30-40 shots per 12g cartridge

Well if it's shooting under 250 it useless unless your closer than 20 feet and if its down in the 150 - 160's then it'll still probably not break. It's an interesting mod to try if you can get the velocity.

Actually, I'm surprised you are getting any more then 10-20 usable shots out of that spyder. Usable meaning FPS above 250. Anything less and the ball may not break.
If you are trying to use 12grams like that, you might as well and buy a PT Extreme or something similar.

actually, I just replaced the internals (o-rings and cupseal) and everything has dropped significanctly kinda wierd IMHO
