It's coming up shortly everybody, the Upstate NY 3-man pump tournament. This May 1st at Headrush Paintball's new expanded facility. The place it right around the New York State Fairgrounds, from the Fairgrounds you can take that same road right to the field even, just a couple miles from it. Syracuse, NY just off of I-690.

Format: 3-man speedball. Center Flag.
Points: 100 points per game. 50 points flag hang, 20 points flag pull, 7 points per elimination, 3 points per remaining player.
Trophies for 1st thru 3rd standings.
Captains Meeting will be at 11am. Game starts at 12noon.

Cost to play? 45 pre-registered. 60 at the door.

This is a game for us to all have some fun, yet still competitive. I mean who doesn't want a nicy shiny object? Pirates and Smurfs always killed one another for shiny stuff, now you can too! Just..... minus the bloodshed and slaughtering part.

But keeping the cost low and the fun high. Hope to see a few of us out there. Would be nice to see a SCP vs. PPIG game, that'd be quite entertaining.

Lemmee make some contact with people, I gotta find out if the date change makes things easier or harder for the team.
It actually makes it a problem for me personally, but I think I can overcome the obstacles. Especially for shiny stuff.

Yeah, I know it sucks having to change the date. But overall it's better due simply because of Mothers' day. As far as hotels are concerned, especially. And some peoples' Moms might be happy.

And Rexx don't worry I had a feeling I wouldn't be seeing any Cali guys here. Flying 3000 miles isn't exactly the best way to get a shiny piece of marble and tin.

Holy crap btlcry, I've just now visited your site (SPIG) for the first time. And I somehow am listed on the stock player locator thingy. I don't mind being there, but that was weird thinking "Hmmm, who else from NY is around" and my name pops up instead!

I'll have to update that Bio though one of these days.

You must've submitted a form at some point. I only post people's info if they send it to me. Unfortunately, I had a hard drive failure last year and lost a year and a half worth of emails, so I can't say for certain when you submitted.

Still Headrush FPO either way, but it's nice to know with the teams signing up about how much paint to bring and how many refs to have.

I think this'd be some good cheap practice for the Squirrels. That and I'm sure some of you guys wouldn't mind going up against a fellow pump team rather than the latest 15yr old with an Impulse! hehe.

Just out of curiosity, what will the field paint be, brand-wise?

Due to family obligations, work and what-not, the Squirrels are currently limited to TWO available players, Quickling and I. Anybody wanna join us? We need a third pumper for the task at hand. I'm not too concerned about how we place, I'm more interested in playing an all-pump event for once in a great while. Accepting applications now heh! Let us know.

I'm out due to money and academic reasons. I sent Andy an email.. then read this post... so sorry for the redundant questions. :)

Also, I miss read Stroker's email and thought we had three.. so we still have two (Stroker and Andy).. I will keep looking for a third.

I mentioned the need for a 3rd to cheerio and she is thinking about it. She might have more money than I.

Until I can find a scanner here's a digital picture of the flyer. Hopefully soon I can find an actual scanner for a cleaner image, but this'll do well enough temporarily.

But since it's not possible with my free issues of PB2X and Crossfire and such I just got a couple of misc action shots. Close enough, it's still paintball. Hey, late reply here. Got the $ and Reg. Form in the mail. Only we've had a tornado here so power was out when I had time to actually be on this machine. But no matter, got the stuff so SPIG is all set.

sadly - the Squirrels are back down to 2. I have to bow out the tourny on Saturday. It looks like the injuries from my wife's car accident last week are a little worse than originally projected, and I have to take her to the hospital on Saturday for MORE hand surgery. Until we figure out if her car is totalled or not, I'm also the main mode of transport. Sorry gents... :(
