Description: Might prove useful.

That's cool B) and understandable, (I like the civility here :) ) and sounds good to me. :)

Now, just so I'm clear on this, what qualifies as a stock friendly field? B) :)

The question on most favorite state for pump over in the Player Connection got me thinking, why not a section for Fields? Within any state or area there will be many pump friendly fields and some who are not. Also, some of us have little experience outside out local area. While the poll is an interesting idea, it would probably boil down to "where do you live?"

Good idea? Bad idea? Opinions?

There is such a thing already over at pbreview, but it is not SC specific.

Oh, I'm aware of PB Review and its field listings, however I'd like to see one here for us SC guys. There are fields that never seem to make it onto PB Review so I think we could benefit from such a section. :)

okay, heres the deal with that, and weve considered this in the past.. but we dont want any thread to become a slam fest. So what we decided early on was that if our members let us know about a stock class friendly field, well post it in the links section on the main site. If you check it out, youll see there are very few links, but the ones up there are of the highest quality and standards. the links there have been endorsed by our members, and its a pretty good bet if you visit one of them, youll have a good time.
If you want to review a field, feel free to send me a write up.. and well put it in the articles page (which will have a separate review section soon) on the main site. new articles are always appreciated and if you had a great experience , we'd would love to hear about it.. :D

the criteria is pretty simple:
  • The field MUST be safe and adhere to all paintball safety guidelines
  • The management should support pump and stock class play in some form
by any of the following or combiniation thereof:
    - Encouraging pump and stock class players (not discouraging them because
    they shoot less paint)
    - Hosting pump or stock class events
    - Offering pump or stock Class players a break or discount of some sort.
    - Anything else that is done at the field that is conducive to pump play.
  • The field should be recommended by a Member of our site or message board.
  • It has to be a fun place to play!
:D
