I'm forever in love with the illusion. I've got decided to run it with a HPA Crossfire 68/4500 and a MacDev Regulator for a modified stock feel. Its great!! Me and another friend ROCKED an entire team(walkon) the other day with his Sterling and my illusion. (woods ball at SC village) No one could touch us. It was such a rush!!! We had two refs watching us like hawks too.

Yep, that Dye L-stock was on my illusion before. But I decided it worked better on the phantom. Plus the HPA tucks in nice to the shoulder.

Both are GREAT guns.... But the edge goes to the illusion. Has a great feel to it , accurate as hell, and the pump is sooooo buttery.

where can you get those dye l-stocks?!?!?!? i checked their website and found nothing of the sort...

they look nice, clean and simple... they would not happen to be available in raw aluminum as well eh?

ChemX- Yep thats a kaner system. I haven't tried any other barrel systems other than the kaner, so I can't compair. But I like it alot! And the black looks pretty darn cool( bet you couldn't tell that I like black :D )

pmiska- I got my l-stock from www.paintballace.com. ( actually walked in the store before I knew it was online. ) But as I am looking at their site I see that they are "no longer available".

I have the whole kaner system. 3 tips and 4 backs.... IIRC I think I paid 130 offa ebay. But every now and then you can find them for 100 bucks. (www.paintballgateway.com I think)

The stock barrel had a pretty big bore. The paint would roll right out (big ball and evil). It still shot pretty straight but it bugged the hell out of me when I was lining up a nice meaty shot, only to shoot air. <_<
