Title: Finally got some new pics up...

Took my new toy out last night. Shot nice. Not very good on speedball though with the stock. It's also kinda finicky with bad paint.

I finally got my Sniper 2 tuned and I must say, it has never shot as well as it did last night. I think the only thing that could improve it is a red dot and maybe a quieter barrel--it's still on the loud side.
I really do want to make the Sniper 2 SC legal, but for that I'd need to find a 99 body with an Angel threaded feed. The 2k body's valve is just too big.

Nice markers!
A couple thoughts:
The PMI can be made much morepaint agnostic by honing and crowning the barrel.
I can set your sniper up with a true stock class feed if you're up for it.

does the valve that is in a pre-2000 cocker matter? I might be able to lay my hands on one in a trade with a friend... however, the marker is supposedly set up for "low pressure", I am not sure what all that entails, but I imagine perhaps a higher flowing valve? would this compromise the ability to run it effectively off 12 grams?
anyways, nice looking shooters, gotta love the pmi's, they just look nice to me...

No, the valve isn't what's important (well, it is, but not as much), it's the body. The pre 2k bodies have a smaller chamber on the upstream side of the valve. A 12 gram will waste more energy by expanding more in the larger chamber of a 2k+ cocker than it will a pre 2k cocker.

Hey Kenny,
Glad you could make it out and practice with us Thursday night. Some of us are going to be practicing Tuesday nights as well if you want to join us then.

Cool. I don't know if I can make it on tuesdays, but if I can, I'll be there.
Pun:
One of these days I'll be coming to you to do some work. My plans for the LB is to get ti stripped and nickled and at the same time I want to have the barrel honed. Give it a full internal tune up. The works.
As far as the sniper goes, I don't know about getting a permanent stock feed put on it. I know how much the job costs. I think it'd be cheaper to either buy an old cocker body and get an angel threaded added or find someone to make one from scratch. I think it'd cost about the same. Plus I'd still have my original body that I can always use as a cocker.
