Title: Post your marker pictures!
Description: your proud of 'em, we wan't to see 'em!
pmiska - January 27, 2004 03:46 AM (GMT)
Marlin's post of his new pride and joy got me thinking... it seems that all to often, we don't get to see pictures of each other's markers until one of them is up for sale! So, how about everyone post up some pictures of their toys!
here is mine, vsc phantom with a 45 grip, J&J edge kit with the 3" ceramic tip for an effective 12" barrel... and a newly aquired blazer red dot sight (thanks medicmoose!).

It shoots tacks, and I really don't know why I didn't get a red dot sooner after shooting with it... much easier to aim for me now... MUCH!
well, let's see 'em folks!

i'm on the ball today, really! can you move this?

Well it could be a pinned General thread, I think that would work.
I'll hold off pictures of my new Phantom on here, as well as my Spyders and the Talon I bought/painted on Sunday, until this is moved or pinned. :D

Yeah, toss them over to qweezle@mac.com and I'll put them up for you.
By the way, Six, I love those!
I really like the top one, I saw that in some other thread, I wish I had that kind of talent! :D

Before I forget, I wanted to ask Mav or Cargo if either of you guys will sticky this thread, since it feels important. :D
Here's the Phantom pictures, also in my other thread:

This is THE gun that started it all(my first REAL gun, first gun was actually a Blade, then Talon), it currently doesn't work, I'm going to sell either it or the TL Plus, oh how I like the SE.....:

My setup for almost 3 years(20oz. tank not shown):

This marker was actually my father's, but he stopped playing, so he pretty much handed it over to me:

On Sunday afternoon I went out to Wal-Mart and picked up a Talon, for no particular reason other than I felt like making a Talon look somewhat nicer than it usually does. I painted it blue internally with acrylic paint, gives it a neat look IMO. I'm going to school some n00bs with this one:

I painted the hopper too(though that didn't come out too well):

God Bless, sorry about the bandwidth!
Marlin. :D

Here's Shadow, setup the way I have her currently. I plan on getting sam hartely to make me some custom wood grips for her later in the calendar year, though.

I don't currently have any pictures of my 2k Sniper II, Ghost.

Here's some pics of Ghost. One of the upgrades slated for much later (when I can afford to) is to get a matte black sliding trigger for her. You can obviously see why.

welp kinda new but figured id add my phantom to the collection, dont think ive ever seen so many in one place, its very rare to find one here in ky
Marlin - February 7, 2004 06:46 AM (GMT)
Beautiful Phantom bigjrus! And welcome to the board! :)
That's Attractive Acid Green, right? What are the extra barrels you have?
Also, do you run it vertical air with that tank? What size is the tank? I'm interested in this particularly because I have a VSC Phantom myself, and I've heard people around here say that you shouldn't put a tank larger than 4 oz. on that vertical adapter, unless you shift it to be bottom line.
How is that tank setup holding up?
And Sir_Brass, that's extremely good looking. Sexy? :P
Marlin. :D

Yes, very. people have said that she was inaccurate when they shot her, but they weren't holding the pump forward when they did that, so what did they expect . I usually said, "let me see that", cocked in a round, held pump arm foward, shouldered up the gun, aimed down the center at a distant target, corrected for drop (sighted it. I'm not HALF bad at doing it, but definately not the greatest), fired and waddayaknow, the round either barely missed (inherent inaccuracy) or hit target dead on. "Inaccurate? I don't see how. Just use her correctly and you won't have any problems" I tell them. but they complain later on that it was still inaccurate, and then I see that they fail to sight straight down the barrel. *sigh*some hardcore semi players can be so dumb. :P :P
bigjrus - February 7, 2004 05:51 PM (GMT)
hey again, well ive got 2 stock barrels to it(always been my favs) and two homemade machined ones, there ok but i get more chops out of them, i usually dont run my 9oz. on it because i had to replace the screws after it stripped it but i seemed to have missplace my adapter somewhere, if i find it ill add it to the picture, but what i like most about havin my 9 oz. on it, with the stock it perfectly balances it for me. yea thats acid green alright, everything from my barrel down to me adapter(if i can find it) is green, hopin to pick up a few extra parts that are transparent green for it, but yea i wouldnt go over a 4 oz tank on it but right now i have no choice in the matter with little money flowin lol, but get back at yall later
peace
Bigj
