Title: Cheap Traccer
Description: Need of some work

Just picked this gun up. Dirt cheap too. It cost $30CDN for the traccer with 7 oz, hopper and bottomline. I'll tell you, it needs some work. Hammer is a little rusted, leaks down the barrel and needs a good cleaning. Nothing I can't fix and I like the challenge.
Plan to mod this gun up. Putting a 4 oz tank on it, BE pocket hopper, shortening the barrel, polishing the insides, new springs and so on. Similar to Punisher's penny pincher, but I don't have the talent or parts like him.
Yes, I do know this gun looks like a beast right now. But couldn't pass up a good deal to start a project on.

I really don't trust the tank very much. The date is 09-92. To you out there who don't know the date system, it was made back in 1992. So, its been off hydro close to 7 years. I'll admit its only CO2, not compressed air, but I just prefere safety since I'll be the one filling the tank.

as long as the diameter is under 2 in you never have to get it retested. you only have to destroy it after 15 years. i have one from 9-89 that i can still get filled. the weird part is that theres not even a screatch on the tank

I hate the wide variety of hydro test laws. I should probably check into it for Canada. I know carbon fiber tanks or which ever one is 5 years in the states is only 3 in Canada. Just want to make sure.

eeek..15 years ?? oh man, im gonna have to find some "late model" 7 oz tanks soon... that what i use the most, love em.. i have a bunch that are in great shape..but , its getting close to the 15 year mark on them...
As for the traccer, youve got a diamond in the rough there, lots you can do with it if you want, but as long as its shooting well, cosmetics are secondary..enjoy it!!
