Title: mag ... stock class semi project
Description: need help

turbo chicken - March 2, 2006 05:10 AM (GMT)
I'm in the process of making my mag a stock class semi. After I sell the A-5 the following will be purchased... let me know if I missed anything.

-3.5oz tank Co2
-pvc pipe or copper pipe and 90degree fitting to make my own feed tube
-some 10 round tubes
-wrist harness to carry tubes (saw it on wevo) any thoughts on these

Any one have any pics or instructions on making a feed tube? I couldn't find any in the forum

I'd be a lot easier to just sell your 'Mag along with your A-5, buy a Sydarm, and setup it up for CA with a 3.5 ounce tank on it.

You have to look in the right forum.
Tech Zone> Hacks n' Mods.
Or my personal favorite is a 3/4" CPVC 90* elbow from the hardware store, with a CCI feedtube and ball cap threaded into it. Another option is 3/4" thinwall copper water pipe with a CCI ball gate on the end (w/fittings of course).

I made one last weekend for Noodles' P-mag and ended up buying a full 10-foot length of pipe, so I've got plenty to spare. I think this weekend I'll make a bunch of them and give them to anyone who wants them.

You're looking at 87 cents for the elbow fitting (either 45* or 90* 3/4" copper elbow), $1.17 for a hose clamp and about $1 per foot of pipe. You want schedule M, which is the thin-wall.

For finishing, I like to hit it with a coat of primer, bake that on at 200*F for about an hour, then hit it with spray paint of whatever color you want.

I'll make up a bunch this weekend out of my remaining 9 1/2 feet of pipe if anyone is interested. I'll put up a thread on saturday once I make 'em.

EDIT: There isn't a thread in the Hacks & Mods section for this. I'll toss one up this weekend with detailed pictures.

Hup, you're correct, Red!

Slightly different than how I did it, but that is indeed the basic formula.
I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a pictoral run-through, though, so I'll do that.

But I get the impression (since it's a semiauto 'Mag) that he's wanting a springfeed.

I was planning on playing this weekend. If I can't get it together before sunday I'd be glad to purchase one from you. Ill keep my eye out for you post.

Thanks for the info guys.

What do you think about modifying a CCM pumpkit for snipers to work on a mag.

I think that if you come up with a good, reliable, easy way to do it you will become God among 'Mag shooters.

Im pretty much planning on doing the same thing once i get a pump kit for my mag but i figure that i can just heat up the powerfeed take it off turn a peice of stainless steal that the powerfeed can fit into and i resolder that back on so if i want i can stick 10 round tubes in there or make a tube for the paintballs.

I made a SC mag not to long ago(its now waiting for tis pump kit to arrive) Anyways...before i came across this awesome cutsome 10rd SC feedtube i used a 90* PVC ELbow, then i grapped a spare 10 rd tube and cut it so tha twhen connected to the PVC and gun it would hold 10rds with some room to spare...I then wrapped some tape very cleanle around the edge and stuck it firmly into the PVC and wala a nice cheap sc feedtube(all for the price of aobut 1.00 plus a few min of work)
