These are some awesome stories, and their all winners in my book (and theyll all get something for their efforts!!) But the voting must go on.. Hopefully next time well get a better turnout and do a better job getting the word out.. but theres no doubt weve got some great writers here!

Good luck to all, Let the voting begin!!

woah i really like reading... and thats some good stuff! i liked the synth war one best because it was a better story line, it kind of left me wondering..."did he really mean to make this seem like a real war, or a scenario game, or a kind of fusion?", and in my opinion had the most depth...like a real great story!

i liked the glimpse into the future right after it because it had the same kind of "left me wondering" addition (or feature, i forgot that word ;) ), and had the depth of a real great story.

the other two in my opinion are almost equal because they were both well written, but i felt a little better about the BIG DAY because it said was stock class was really about. i felt a little disappointed about them both though becuase they didnt get me into the story...like i found myself doing, leaning into the screen, reading the synth war story.....

thats my alot more than 2 cents :D

Cronos - June 10, 2003 07:31 PM (GMT)

Blitzkrieg - June 12, 2003 02:24 AM (GMT)
yeah i heard the author or that winning the day story was some paintball god or something, a real stock class Idol. Ps just between you and me, i hear hes Canadian...

Tough choice there, great writing and story lines in all cases. Lots of imagination.

However I liked how A Glimpse into the Future includes technology predictions for paintball's future. Nice stuff. Loved the ending. Dream within a Dream. :) Or is it non-fiction.

From "A Glimpse Into the Future"
"The bonded plate was faster and literally made the trigger a part of her hand. She was for real. I didn’t know many women who’d be willing to glue something to her body for a nanosecond advantage."

 I had to giggle at that statement. Ever seen a woman get fake nails? Put on her makeup? Many of them do it and for a lot less than a "nanosecond advantage".

Hee hee!

Im Going to close the voting on this on the last day of this month (June 2003) , so get your votes in people!! :D
