i was just watching this show on this channel and there were these two christian airhead old timers talking about how Jesus is going to come and destroy the one leader of the new world order. they were talking like zombies and it was the funniest thing ive ever seen.

then i did research on the network and apparently they were exposed for just being completely full of shit. theyre basically false prophets that scam stupid Christians into BUYING into their bullshit. so pathetic

This one time when I was a freshman some dude was walking around the dorms I lived at, and he stopped me and my roommate to discuss "politics". He was handing out some magazine that was produced by some communist group whose leader (I wish I could remember his name) was, like, hiding from the government in a cave somewhere and he was giving his people orders on how to initiate the class war. The guy was obviously a total idiot but I took his magazine cause I used to try really hard to be cool. At the end of the conversation he said something like, "this is the least important part of what I had to say, but we'd appreciate it if you guys would like to contribute some money towards the cause." I really could not figure out how the he'll contributing money to a group dedicated to abolishing private property would help anybody, much less make sense.

Anyway, giving money to organizations which are formed on "ideals" without any concrete goals is stupid, and contributing money to religion makes even less sense.

Lee, have you read any of Kubrick's 2001-era interviews? That guy was a fascinating conversationalist, I'm sure you'd really enjoy them. I'll go find some links.
