Title: Lego Star Wars

Well I didn't buy this game, my cousin did...for me! yay! I thought this game would be really stupid and kiddish, but it turned out fairly good. The game goes through 3 star wars movies, one of which is not released yet. Episode I, II and III. It really gives you the sense that you are in a block world where everything can chip.Personally, I think the game has been done nicely. and the minigames (for instance, the Episode I Pod Race) are a bit snaggy at times, but you manage to pull yourself through them.

Some things you can unlock are pretty useless, for instance, a moustache, or a tea cup (you hold it rather than a gun) and other stuff. You get a glimpse of how "Revenge of the Sith" turns out nearly two months before the film comes out. Each episode (I,II,III) is divided in chapters, from 1-6 or what ever. The cool part about this game is that you can switch between any characters in your party just by pressing a single button.

Different chars have different abilities. Jedis come equipped with lightsabers and the ability to "Force move" objects, Droids (R2D2 and stuff ) can hover for a while and unlock certain doors; and characters like the Queen Amydala (sp?) have blasters and don't have the double-jump, but they can use grappling hooks to pull their way up to high areas. There are a lot of different playable characters, each of them having there own ability.

The graphics are good enough to convince me that the game is made out of lego blocks:

I like this game, as much as I would like any star wars game. it stays true to its name, and yet its lego! Rating: around like 8.3/.4

You're only allowed to spend 3 hours on it, otherwise, you'll get arrested.

The game looks...dumb. If I happen to have a friend who has it, I might try it out, otherwise, I'll continue calling it dumb.

Unless you can detach the jedis' hair...

Crotus - April 16, 2005 07:44 PM (GMT)
Dude, the thing that really is weired is that it's on X-Box!!!

If it was on GC ok but in X-Box! what the hell?!

Crabsmasher - April 18, 2005 09:20 PM (GMT)
I know, I think it's b/c lucasarts ended their deal with nintendo( on the consoles) so now they only develop for microsoft and occasionally sony. It makes me kind of sad really...

BrownMan - April 18, 2005 10:59 PM (GMT)

What?! Really?

But don't you think a game that looks for kids that should be on GC be on a System that everygame is violent and blood addicted?

Crabsmasher - April 19, 2005 12:09 AM (GMT)
Well it doesn't make sense thats for shure..

Crotus - April 19, 2005 12:18 AM (GMT)
......But the question is WHY?!

Why did Lucas arts make a game for X-Box that looks like its for the GC

It just so confuseing

Um, so is the movement 2D with 3D graphics? The screenshot of them running across the bridge makes it look that way. Reminds me of Kirby and the Crystal Shards, but anyways....It sounds alot better than I gave it credit for. Maybe I'll convince my friend to rent it.

RE4 is M for 17+, not just because it's hella violent, but because your brain isn't developed enough before 17 years of age to soak up all the awesomeness contained within.

Whats cool about this game is that when you get Jar Jar binks, you can kill him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crotus - April 20, 2005 09:08 AM (GMT)
You've played this game?

GmMontex03 - April 21, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
Well, no,not yet. I've read reviews, and watched them. Looks really good. My favorite review is the X-PLAY one on G4 Tech TV. They connented on how you can get more characters, and on eof them is Jar-Jar. And they showed him dieing over and over and over, it was really funny.

Crotus - April 22, 2005 01:00 AM (GMT)
Poor poor Jar Jar :(
