I don't know if you want to use it, but here's a new story...
Years have passed since the destruction of Lavos... Everything was peaceful. In the year 1999, the Day of Lavos, everything went as planned... Cities were growing into Metropoli, new forest were planted, robots were created. The creation of A.I. was nearby... Some robots opposed humans, but they were repaired and everything continiued to be peaceful. New robots like Robo were created, and even improved... Untill that day... the day everything went wrong... People call it Apocalyps.
What happened? People died, the entire human race would be wiped out. But Crono and his friends opposed he enemies, the Damy. The Damy were Mystics that had lived underground. They are the Dark Mystics (DaMy...). They have trained for years to be able to stop the humans. They have also created robots... A hard battle was fought... But it was over... Crono did it again. The Giant Robot was destroyed and the leader of the Damy was caught... But he was working for someone... He also had a story to tell...
Nothing exists by itself... there isn't 1 bird or 1 single mammal... They come in groups... And if there is a new lifeform, it spawned from something else. Lavos too, had to come from somewhere... Lavos too had a father. And maybe that father is even more evil than Lavos was! What was Lavos' purpose? Only to drain the World's energy? And when he done it... what then? He would create sons and they would consume other planet's energy... that was the theory... but is it right? Why was Lavos sent to Earth? And what does his father want? Revenge! Crono & Co must stop Lavos' father and whatever created him. Put an end to Lavos' Orgins once and for all. And make sure nothing like that ever lives again... Because Lavos can have brothers... and Crono would look worried if one day, a red star would approach Earth.
And what did Schala had to do with the Damy? What happened to her anyway? Many questions, sure to be answered... In the Chrono Remake Project.

Good story, but this is supposed to be a remake of the original, same story and all. ;)
Exactly, Same story as the original; so it s unlikely that the storyline from that will be used. However, perhaps your idea could be some sort of sidequest. Though, even for a sidequest; that will change the original story line alot... :unsure:
