The Mango - March 13, 2005 12:36 AM (GMT)

It depends on where you go. Pricewatch.com has them for about $310-340 (depending on the vendor).

Odds are those are the 128MB versions. I was referring to the 256MB (as that is the version I own). I guess I should've said that.
SSJoseph - March 17, 2005 02:31 AM (GMT)

Maybe because of that piece of SPAM graphics card? LOL! Your other PCs are mindblowing though, but I really don't see why you need 2 Gigs of ram for a MUSIC (as in SOUNDS in a SEQUENCE read from a USUALLY AROUND 4 MEG FILE) Pc. Shoot, 256-512 would do you just fine.
Galidan - March 17, 2005 03:17 AM (GMT)
Man, SSJoe, I want to say I'm impressed by your PCs three, but I'm not. I have one PC and it gets the job of gaming, business, AND music done by itself. You have to have three different computers to get the job done.
/Galidan
Knives - March 17, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)
I think Galidan's got a point there, Joseph. Your gaming PC is roughly as powerful as about oh, say, 25 of mine (not counting your graphics cardS lol) and if I can run Firefox, AIM, MSN, AOL (RAM eater!), Winamp, and Unreal Ed at the same time then you should be just fine.
Knives101 - March 17, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
 might have all his music sound effects voices and music generating programs on that pc... though me being a technical moron... I have no way of know if those programs would require that much.
Sir_Crono531 - March 17, 2005 04:26 AM (GMT)
Always depends on how much music he has though and what programs. Plus I can see why he would use a gaming pc and a business pc seperate, wish I could afford that.
WolfPack - March 18, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
After i get back from my summer job, heres what i'm getting:
Hp.
3.60 ghz, with HT
1080mb Ram
Ati Rad. X700 (WOOT!)
250 gig HD.
Cable interent.
I shall be in Valhalla! :D
GmMontex03 - March 21, 2005 07:47 AM (GMT)
I got UT2K4 from a friend and use it mainly for lan parties but I can play it at home without the playdisk. dont ask me to give anyone a copy of UT2K4, it is too large to pas arround the net. My laptop lags a little only when the power cord is not plugged in, but when it is plugged in the game runs flawless, so if i am chosen for the beta test i am ready to go!
Khilandar DraGonFisT - March 21, 2005 08:17 AM (GMT)
amd athlon 64 3500+
1024 MB DDR400 RAM
120 Gigs
GeForce 6600 GT 128mb graphics

mouse
LCD monitor
+ a lot of CT love and time to test it :D
Got h4|2d\/\/@|2e ? :P
Vash72 - March 23, 2005 01:20 AM (GMT)
Probably too early for this Wolfie but anyways :D .........
- Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz
- 1024 MB DDR-SDRAM
- NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128 MB
- Seagate HD Barracuda - 7200.7 80GB
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
- 19" Philips Flat Monitor
If the CTRP team decides they need external betatesters I'll be more than happy to help test ......... provided I have the money to purchase Unreal Tournament 4 by then .......... my car is going to drain most of the money I have  ........... gotta love those rising petrol prices ......
Cheers,
VAsh
Knives - March 23, 2005 01:55 AM (GMT)
God, all of your computers are so powerful! We will need some strong machines to test it on, but remember that we need PCs from all across the spectrum. X700s are nice, but so are Intel Extremes (not actually like good, but good for the beta.) We want your uber-comps to be able to play CTRP in all its beautiful 1280x1024 3D glory, but not everyone who will want the game will have those specs. Just keep this in mind.
Crotus - March 23, 2005 03:05 AM (GMT)
 now THATS what i call REQUIREMENTS.......Not Really :P
Narles - March 23, 2005 04:50 AM (GMT)
You'll probably want a Mac user or two to beta test, right? Gotta make sure you know what to set the requirements for on a Mac too. If anyone cares, here's my set-up.
Apple PowerMac G4
Mac OS 10.3.8
Dual 1Ghz G4 Processor
64 MB ATI Radeon 9000
768 MB of PC-2700 DDR SDRAM
120 GB, 80 GB, and 120 GB internal hard drives
Output is a dual 17-inch monitor set-up (one is an Apple LCD and the other is a Samsung CRT).
The CRP Team probably isn't even close to caring about this info yet but I figured I'd post in case.
GmMontex03 - March 23, 2005 05:05 AM (GMT)
Uber...My laptop is almost out of space, just like two gigs left untill i run out of roon so some of my stuff is running slow, but most of it works fine.

Magus5311 - March 23, 2005 07:15 PM (GMT)
I'd absolutely love to beta, Dunno if you need the specs, but other people are doing it, so what the hay.... my specs are:

-Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz
-512MB RAM
-ATI Radeon 9600 Series 256 MB

WolfPack - March 23, 2005 10:01 PM (GMT)
