something lying in a forest...

It's the MOON stone of course.

Well, it was because after "some time" it turns into the sun stone.

no its talking about the sun stone, because the sun stone's glow perished long ago, not the moon stone, the moon stone is perished lol

What does it matter, if I call it the moonstone or the sunstone, it is the same stone. But I suppose it's up to Marcel to decide.

Haha, it's the moonstone, because when the sunstone loses it's energy, it turnes into a moonstone. The moonstone is the sunstone after it's lost it's energy, and more importantly, it's the stone I had in mind when I wrote the I spy, so there ;)
