I have no XBox either, but I'm not sad, for I get to revel in the glory that is MGS3(when it comes out), Ace Combat 5, Armored Core: Nine Breaker, and a ton of others! HAHA EAT IT MICROSOFT!

And Duranix well ya know killzone isn't all that good right, go read the reviews I'm not lie'n it isn't that good. And whats wrong with microsoft... well sure gates is a tard, but did he come to your house and say you suck... probably not... the fact is the xbox is cool, if you played the good games(like halo1&2) you might come to realize the system isn't a dick, just the owner of the company. In stats the xbox rules... which is unfortunate cause I'm a nintendo fan myself.. but thats the facts.

Stats don't make a system, games do. Besides, I'll be very happy this holiday season with my PS2. I'll be getting KH2, Ratchet and Clank UYA, and Star Ocean 3. I want to get MGS3 too if I can convince my mom.

Knives, they say killzone is the halo of the ps2, secondly my name is darketernal, not duranix, and thirdly I didn't say the system sucked, by all means it's great, but I'd rather get something else. KH2, killzone, R&K, MGS3, Gran turismo 4, FF11, the list could go own. Xbox reigns supreme right now. That's beacause it came out last. VERY last. (long time). PS2 came out first and GC inbetween. See a trend. Now the next gen consoles (xbox2, ps3, revolution) it's going to come out, xbox2, revolution, Ps3. (because ps2 came first so now the xbox wants first dibs) and nintendo's pissed. Sony doesn't mine.

:huh: When they said Killzone would be a halokiller they lied or at least didn't know what they were talk'n about. I kid you not it ain't that great a game, I've watched clips and reviews and previews for it, nobody says it can take halo anymore.
Ya sorry I got ya mixed with duranix, his name was first on all the threads and just kinda stuck in my head for a time. And there are many great games for the xbox, ninja gaiden and morrowind to name a few. I didn't say it was my fav. system the GC is.
And I think your getting a little over board with this, I never said anything about the next gen(not even sure what that has to do with halo2), or about sales, I'm just saying its a great system and halo2 is a great game and I can't fathom why you guys hate it so. ;)

The Xbox does definitely have some games worth owning, but a lot of those games can also be purchased for the PC (although the console version of Halo really is better.) The GameCube is great for Nintendo's amazing first party titles. But the reason I purchased my PS2 (since I don't have enough cash to really buy anything else) is so I could get my necessary RPG fix.

They also said that Tribes: Aerial Assault was going to be a Halo killer for PS2. While it's a great game, and one I am glad I played, it never quite caught on.... And I didn't like Killzone either, it seemed a little sluggish to me, although it may be because it wasn't using a keyboard and mouse. :P

1. I involved the next gen consoles because of all of the hype of the xbox AND it's games. Halo had people jumping up and down (this isn't the only reason but I don't want to stray from the topic) because of it's great graphics. That's why I brought that up, to compare how Halo3 will look on the Xbox2 compared to some other ps3 games. I hope it will be reverse of the Halo2 vs Killzone ordeal.

2.I agree, Killzone doesn't stack up to Halo. I had high expectations but it didn't quite stack up to Halo2 at all.

3.Halo 1 and 2 are great games! The Xbox is as well, I never said they weren't but I refuse to buy (maybe play my friends) games that come from Gates. It's like Wallmart. They have slave labor (means they pay half price to their employees but only full price to their managers). But what they do is price their stuff way cheap so people always go there. I refuse to shop their. Where I live, it's a small town and they've decided to put one right in the small country-like town of ______.
See. Xbox is good, great even, I just don't like the creator so therefore I refuse to buy Xbox or xbox games. ;)

SPAM, Killzone was supposed to be my Halo 2 substitue. Then again, I've heard rumors H2 is coming out for the PC sometime, so I will most likely get it then.

I went to the mall with a friend tonight and we both played it. I have to say, it's pretty awesome, but one thing mystified me: the character models always look incredible, but the environments sometimes seem rather plain (almost just like the first game, actually) while you're playing. However, in the cinematics (which are real-time), the graphics are OMG beautiful. Like, tear-worthy. I don't get it.

:huh: Halo1 went for the pc, so I don't see why halo2 wouldn't.

I got Halo2 at midnight when it came out, then beat it that day. I just recently beat it on Heroic. Legendary is almost impossible. Your shield is sooo bad...Master Chief might as well strip down and wrap himself in tinfoil, because that will do about as much as his shield. When I beat the game, I got a new level, Foundation, for multiplayer. Anyone know of any others?

I think Halo 2 is a lot of fun. Especially now that my tank loving friend can be forcefed grenades. But I also have to admit that all of my roommates have been playing Fable a LOT more than Halo 2. Hell, it's only seen a couple days of gameplay. And we waited at midnight for it.

Not to be rude, but am. I the only person in the world who doesn't like the Halo 1/2 single player missions?

I don't hate you, since I think Halo's single player missions are very simple. But I think the combat is so immersive, OMG I love it. You just get so into Halo.

i just finished beating the first halo on legendary and second one on heroic. holy SPAM....that was hard. :blink:
