Title: Having a problem accessing the website?
Description: I sure am!

i68040 - October 28, 2004 01:43 PM (GMT)
Hi everyone!

I am having a problem accessing this web site using Mac OS X 10.3.5 and Safari. I can not access anything except the forum via the button - wheel. Also, I can not get it to work using any Mac OS X browser. ( I should note that I have not tried Internet Explorer for Mac )

Also, when I try KDE Konquerer nothing works either. Does this website only work on Windows?

Is anybody else having problems?

Sado_Monkey - November 7, 2004 07:33 AM (GMT)
Yeah me! When I enter the site its always on (connecting to server) but it never finish :(

TheBrain - November 8, 2004 01:48 AM (GMT)
It seems were having problems with the MySQL servers, we'll try to fix them...
Sorry about this.

Sado_Monkey - November 10, 2004 02:38 AM (GMT)
loll no problem wih that

SSJoseph - November 10, 2004 04:56 AM (GMT)
I beleive its because its a Linux server.
Linux servers are very VERY case, and character sensative.

Some are so bad that you have to type in the http://
and even the / at the end of the .com part

My server I am glad isnt like that....its more just case sensitive

For example, mediaddiction.com/forumchat wont work
but mediaddiction.com/ForumChat will work :P

Did I confuse you, YES
Am I proud of it....A little
Am I bored..............guess

Actually...you didn't confuse me.

Anyway, yeah, just had to say that. Let's get back on topic.

hi i'm new here (and by the way i absolutely love your site!)
I can view your site, but before i had the same problem too.. the sever never loaded! but now it does (yay!!!)... the only thing now is, i can't view anything from the menu on the left! (wahh... ^_^") ok.. well anyway, is it just my computer? or what..??

Coolcat607 - November 25, 2004 02:27 AM (GMT)
ummm... I STILL can't view any of the sections...
what exactly do you need for this site to work on your computer? (I think i have everything needed.. but i'm not sure).. why isn't it working?? anyone help? (thanks)

Lagonium - November 25, 2004 11:59 PM (GMT)
I think you might just need to download and install flash player 7, Coolcat607. Oh, I also had a question. Can anyone give me the link to the HTML only version of the site? I am still unable to use the button wheel on the left.

TheBrain - November 26, 2004 01:01 AM (GMT)
You'll have to wait some more time for the HTML version, sorry.
It's still in development by Rorae.

Coolcat607 - November 26, 2004 10:24 PM (GMT)
oh okay.. thank you! i'll download it now.. unless i already have it.. O.o;;
lol, well thanks again

Coolcat607 - November 26, 2004 10:38 PM (GMT)
well i already have it.. and i have my javascript enabled... what in the world is wrong with my computer??!! .. heh heh
lol.. well i have a MAC OS X (version 10.3.5), and i'm using internet explorer 5.2..
anyone know what it could be? the only thing not working when i go to your site, is the menu.. i click on images or whatever, and i can't go there.. or to any section except the forum...
thanks again for your help

Lagonium - November 29, 2004 12:48 PM (GMT)
That's exactly what my problem is, too. But I'm using Safari for OS 10.2.8. I tried every internet browser I could find and nothing worked.

Narles - December 3, 2004 04:53 AM (GMT)
Same for me! I'm using Mac OS 10.3.6 on Safari 1.2.4 (v125.12) and I can't access any parts of the site except the forums. I click and click on all of the little buttons on the wheel to the side and I can't get into anything. My Mac is fully updated with Java and Flash and all that stuff so I don't really get what's wrong. Can someone help me?

Coolcat607 - December 5, 2004 04:35 AM (GMT)
because your site doesn't work on my computer (or other peoples..), about when will the HTML version come out??

Lagonium - December 21, 2004 12:42 PM (GMT)
So, how comes the HTML only version of the site? I am now running OS 10.3.7, and it still does not work.

Narles - December 26, 2004 03:19 AM (GMT)
Man...with all these new updates, I'm really upset about not being able to view them on my computer. I can only see the one screenshot on the main page because I can't access any of the buttons on the side (including the media button). My Mac is completely updated with the latest Java and Flash versions. I wonder what's up? Anyway, from the music remake track I heard and the one screenshot I saw, you guys are making one sweet mod! It looks so professional, I can't believe it. I just wish I could see the rest of the newly unveiled goodies! Please Help!

Firefox 1.0 doesn't seem to work properly with the website. The site initally loads, but I am unable to access any of its sections (media, archive, about, etc.)

I just tested it in IE6 and it worked fine.

I'm using XP Home SP2.

Coolcat607 - January 6, 2005 01:47 AM (GMT)
is IE 6 only for MAC OS X or can older macs get it? cuz I have a mac os 8.6....
thanks!

Rorae - January 16, 2005 03:55 PM (GMT)
Hi! Sorry for the delay answering your problems...

If you're having problems on firefox, namely the menu not working you should try re-installing flash player 7 (make sure to install it to the firefox browser). Apparently some firefox versions come with a faulty flash player 6 so you need to install 7 again on the firefox.

The flash pages are not compatible with any Mac IE at the moment, if you're using a Mac you should try Netscape 3+ (except versions 6 and 6.01).

This problem is caused by unsupported javascript<->flash communication,
hopefully some browser compatibility issues for the flash pages will be fixed on a next update.

Also note: The End of Time Theme (HTML) is available as a lighter compatible version.

Sorry for the inconvinience.

PS: For more information see Flash TechNote for script communication
