Title: The Lunar Series
Description: Prop out to Working Designs!

Through all of my years, I've never met a game company as dedicated as good ole' Working Designs. Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar: Eternal Blue are two of the BEST RPGs out there. What does everyone think? As of now, Working Designs and Atlus are my two favorite companies, and Lunar rocks all Final Fantasy games. (Not that I don't like FF, I love 'em.)

My favorite game ever is Final Fantasy IX...however, I think the Lunar series is the single most underrated game series EVER. Beautiful artwork, an interesting battle system, and the best writing I have ever seen (some parts were so funny it had me crying), Lunar 1 and 2 are some awesome games.

What I don't understand is why FFIX is way underrated as well. All of my friends say the game sucks, because Kuja dresses like a girl and the graphics are kiddy. The truth is, Final Fantasy 9 has some awesome music, Kuja is plain old awesome, and Zidane is a lady's man. It doesn't get much better than that! I mean, come on. Squall barely talked in FF8. I prefer someone with a personality, like Zidane. And Vivi was awesome as well! FFIX is great, indeed.
Best character ever: Ghaleon from Lunar. I love his voice...

I have never heard of the Lunar Series. What platform is it for?

 For the PS, and home knives is right it has a spectacular story. I really loved the series, working designs has redone a few other good games to, arc the lad, and they are working on growlancer right now, and growlancer looks pretty good.
Cloud- the...ummm...ya I don't know that one
Squal- the moody one
Zidane- the funny one
Tidus- the jock
9 is underrated because final fantasy fans seem to like the heroes who act like they don't care about there role(squal), or are to stupid to know whats going on(tidus). 9s heroe was the only one that seem to have it together and didn't have a overly strung attitude, when there was a problem in 9 they always looked to zidane cause he was the man with the plan. 9 is my fav. of the ff series by far, I liked 6 and 7 a lot to.

I really liked IX because the world that it created was so much more believable and full of life than all the other Final Fantasies. Each location has its own distinct charm to it and none of them appear similar. The writing in FFIX is also outstanding, making me laugh out loud many times. Story is also awesome because it attempts to go beyond the usual RPG trappings to provide something truly philosophical, moving, and powerful. The real-time graphics still manage to somewhat impress me today!
Let's just put it this way: if I ever do something other than CTRP, FFIX is the model I will use.

The Lunar series was originally on the Sega CD, but Working Designs later brought it over to Playstation, doing a phenomenal job at it as well. The game itself is expensive, because they went all out on it. The booklet is leather bound, it comes with other special things like pop-up stands of the characters, making of CD, and soundtrack to the game. If you haven't played it, I very very very strongly recommend you go out and rent it, or buy it, both of them. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete. The Arc the Lad Collection was great as well. Elc and Arc were the shiz. I loved the opening sequence of Arc the Lad II...
Growlanswer I am looking foward to as well, but why isn't 1 in there?! That angers me! I've never played any of them before, but I trust in Working Designs to supply me with a good game.

 Yeah I loved that scene! And when Baku keeps mistaking Doctor Tot's name and Marcus is like "...it's Tot."
Kuja, even though he cross dresses, is still a badass because he's a poet.

 That and he blows up a friggin planet, also you never actually beat kuja... he just dies from, from... umm... well his clone juice runs out is the best way of saying it.. otherwise he would kick but everywhere and no one could stop him.
