I'm not a great fan of CC, only CT. Although it was a fun rpg, it was nothing compared to CT in my opinion.

yea, they should have made some things better ie. not 250+ charcters that have no point in the game, that made it bad altho they could have done it better if lets say you have to do things/find reallly hidden things then figure out how to use them, etc.. or make more branching thingies, ie. you can only play about 50 chars depending on things u say, do... or make the game reallllyyyy long and have everyone have their own stories.. that would be too boring tho.... i dunno..

Serge of course, but I wish he could talk, cause that silent stuff is way past!

I liked kid and Harley equally but Harley was winning so I went with the popular vote. :P

I've never really liked any of the characters in Trigger except for Ozzie,Flea,Slash and Magus and Frog.
I really liked Lynx but he was really just an evil version of Magus with fur.
Serge earns points for carrying a swallow instead the cliche sword but besides that i was hoping he would just die. He just can't quite fill cronos shoes as the lovable mute. And i also think they failed to capatilize on the connection between Serge and Lynx.
Sneff was a hilarious character and a favorite among people i know who play the game.
Skelly was another character that frequented my party. Dead skeleton clown...Classic. :D
Kid was a great character although when i first started playing i had no idea how important she would become to the story. My favorite female RPG character.
I really think people complain too much about the edition of over 40 characters in CC. I really don't think it hurt the game at all and it definitely made new game+ alot funner for me. As for character development...Well i don't think there was much of that in either game. -_- [/color]

Its possible to get her in New Game+.

I'm almost there.

You need to beat the game with her in your party or whatever, then go to the Time Dimension or whatever and add em to your other file, you wont get her if Lynx is in the party, so you have to do it again, but without Lynx in your party (so you could use Serge) and then you have her.

A friend of mine did it and uses my desired party; Serge, Lynx, Harle.

Besdies Serge, Magil (He reminds me of Janus), Kid, And Lady Ridel, i like Glenn. And he REALLY shoulda' been up there ;)

Magil is Janus. lol. In RD Magus (or janus) is Magil; in CC he's Gil. At first the team was gonna make him magus under a different name like they did in RD, but i quess they canceled it. At any rate, it still left Gil a powerfull black user and floating like magus.

Anyways , CC has a lot of references to other games ( cc , rd )

Even Some places in the map are same from cc and ct.

iv played CC about 25 times and thats no lie!!!!

yes iv got harle in my party.......

to get her you must play the game 5 times!!!!
and on the 3rd time right when you get her in your party go
kill lavos spawn...now play the game for the 5th time and when you get chrono cross
Cross her over and she will be there!!!

allso has any one seen the rooms and stuff thats not in the game no more but still on the disk to see it get PS emulator and the codes are at gamefaqs.com

I'm only on my second time through the game, and am aware of the ability to beat the game whenever you want using Opassa beach. However, the hybrid party you speak of is new to me as well, as is adding the characters to "your other file." Care to clue us in?

Sorry, almost forgot the point of the topic. Starky and Grobyc were my favorites. I also thought Lynx made a perfect villan.

My favourite were Kid , Draggy, and glenn,(didn`twe had a Glenn of Green hair on Ct also known as Frog ) . I also liked the "mini Ayla"(I do not remember her name.
Don´t you all think guile also was a good character (who also has a resemblence with Mgus or so I think)

I was hoping someone would revive this topic. I believe the "mini Ayla" character to which you referred is named Leah. I'll check on that though.

Well my favorite guys are Serge, Glenn, and Guile. I think the two coolest female charecter are prolly Kid and Riddel.

Its possible to have all characters. I've seen my friend do it, though myself hasn't from no time playing it.

Ok, here goes.

Beat the game so the next time you have the Chrono Cross.

Use the Chrono Cross on your second time WITH Harle in your party, this way it calls her in, but not Lynx.

Beat the game at any point now.

Now, on the third time through, take her out of your party while as Lynx and use it.

Beat the game.

Use it again, Lynx is now there.


It's been awhile since I've seen it done without cheating, but you have to beat the game AT LEAST 3 times to do it.

My favorite CC character was spring because of his morphing ability. His ability gets cool when you get Ozzie, Slash, and Flea. :D

I really did not like CC, but my favorite character was Kid. I also liked those two idiots that you had to fight alot during the game. I forgot their names though...

Yeah Solt and Peppor they were pretty funny but very helpful in teaching you the game. :lol:

Glenn was pretty cool! First time I played CC, I was hoping for a connection, I also prayed this would be the same Glenn.

Well if you think about it the Glenn of CTwas born on the middle ages , while CC´s Glenn was born on the present ...(But I agree that it would be cool if he was the same good old Glenn from CT)

No shcala isn't playable and neither is any other CT character. :rolleyes:

No they are just making a remake and for more info on joining the teams go to news.

you can't play as schala cause this project is just remaking the original Chrono Trigger, they are going to 3-D enhance it, they might also plan on taking some of the board member's ideas to add a lil spice to the game.

My favorite characters were Kid and Glen. It was really nice to see a female character in an Rpg who was independant strong willed and her own person, rather than just the hero's main love interest or damsel in distress. Glen was also a great character, even if he was in no way related to his CT frog counter-part.

I liked Glenn, Kid had that nice funny accent (arse lol). But I definatly have to say I liked salt and peppor, they definatly fit the opposite of "with freinds like that, who needs enemies?" quote. :lol:
