Well since there's not enough threads on the Chrono Trigger part I've decided to put this up. This is for talking about anything Chrono Trigger. If you have questions you can ask and I'll try to help! :D

Im the new member but i have been playin CT ever since it came out wen i was in 1st or 2nd grade so i m a pretty big fan..i dink they should make chrono trigger like kingdom hearts kinda game (without all the fruity disney characters) that would be cool walkin around in a 3d world and seeing the magic or techs done by all the char at once..think about..

Hey i've been playing ct since it came out too,
For the kingdom hearts idea, it would be cool if they used other Squaresoft characters like Black Mage!

Were not trying to makea fruity disney characters for this project. Were trying to make it as close as possible to the actual design and look of the real 2d game of ChronoTrigger. Were trying not to change much, except make it into 3d. :)

I no, thats wut i m saying no fruity disney characters but it will b cool if u can see crono in a ARPG so like wen u want to see crono do Cyclone u actually see him go across the screen in the map instead of like Final Fantasy games, stuck within a border takin turns slashing each other

Yup, thats what we are doing, with the new battle engin, it will offer awsome effects and such. I beleve there will be the option for the origional battle style too, but it would be harder for play (enemys would take longer to kill due to the new system having a higher damage per second). I think the new one will be alot more exciting.

Ct was some fun in its days :)

Yeah it was fun, but I'm shure we can make it alot more fun with todays tecnology and grafics.

Im up to the part where I caught the rat and I have to old l and r then hit a to open a secret passage. I think I do it by those do machines with the blue bubble buttons, but its not working :/

The future was the part I forget most, but I'm sure one of the computers gives you a hint or a clue or something like that, check all of the computers.

chrono-addict - October 22, 2003 11:56 PM (GMT)
and some emulators dont accept 3 buttons at once, so you could try assingning l and r to the same button for a little while.. Iuno..

Use ZSNES, i don't have any problems with it. It's the best emu, it only may be a little faulty on the sounds, since i own the original game i can hear some differences. But it's the best emu...

Staff_Maker - December 24, 2003 09:53 PM (GMT)
ZSNES one off the best. :ph43r:

I personally prefer snes9X over ZSNES, but whatever works for you :)

As far as your being stuck in the future... The rat should tell you to hold L&R and press A. You need to do this at the console on the right, in the first room under the dome. This should make a platform appear that bridges tha gap to a door which leads you... well you'll have to play :)
