Lufia 2 is a game that I think does not get the fame it deserves. It is filled with tons of puzzles that sometimes take hours, if not days to figure out. It has classic gameplay with an original battle system. You can travel by air, land, sea, and even underwater in a submarine. The whole "capsule monster" aspect of the game is where I think the creaters of Pokemon got thier idea.

If you have not played it, you should. It is hard to find the cartrige, I spent years looking for it, but you can download the rom easy enough. The characters, such as Guy and Dekar are awsome. A lot of people will disagree but I believe that this game rivals even ff3, ff7, and chrono trigger.

I just wanted to raise Lufia 2 awareness, so that people can see how good the game really is. By the way, The original Lufia kinda sucks, so don't base your opinion of Lufia 2 on it's Prequal (which actually takes place post-lufia 2... it's the whole starwars episode 1 thing again).

I've played through about half the game. Quit about 2 years ago. Pretty fun. The random/no random battle feature was very cool and the puzzles were nice..not for dummies.

Mad props to you, guy. I loved Lufia and Lufia II, and I've always felt the same way. They were such great games, but they never got very big.

I think they also made one for Gameboy Advance, it doesn't look as good, but as soon as I can get my hands on it, I will.

I would've responded to this sooner, 'cause Lufia II is definitely up there in my list of all-time favorites (which I won't list right now, because I ramble as it is). Anyway, I just joined this forum tonight, otherwise I would've responded to this sooner.

I haven't actaully played it. One game I focus on that doesn't get alot of print is Orge Battle. Its really quite a good game with alot of storyline to it.

I liked Lufia II, it was really cool. But not on my top 5. But, i dont want this to undermind how cool it was.

Ogre Battle was awsome too. It is in my top five. Although I think there are probably ten games in my top five...
