Ive been thinking at this for awhile... Maybe magus never existed in the world(s) that CC took place in... rather, he went looking for schala in all different eras and dimensions after CT was over. In the end, he probably ended up in the 3rd, non-playable (in CC) world we know as radical dreamers. I think radical dreamers is the dimension that CC dimensions branch off from... not another alternate universe, but an original universe? maybe CC is the offset dimensionss that never happened from RD's dimension? They do obviously state that the quote from radical dreamers in chronopolis was "probably another world" that you didnt have access too... anyway, according to my theorie, he probably ended up there, figuring that the kid there was schala... that brings me to the "maybe more?" part of the topic. could it be that the real dimension was the RD one? it seems so, to me. For one, the Kid there found out who she was. also,magus WAS there... there is WAY too much proof proving who magil was, if you didnt notice it. for one, when you hear about masamune and einlanzer from riddel, someone (forgot who...) says something about him knowing something about the masamune (been a while since I played RD :P), that thing mainly being Frog/Glenn, although unstated. Also, the one thing that keeps close to my mind about this -- the frozen flame was different! it may just seem to be a graphical difference at first, but it was a bit more. it reminded Kid who she was, and I believe it broke the gate key, if I remember correctly. (not too sure... my memory on this is a bit bad) maybe it was set there for schala/kid, and not part of lavos? with all this, I can say almost surely that there is more than a small amount of proof that I believe shows what happened to magus and which Kid was real, as well as which dimension was the original one. post what you think about my theorie!

oh, yeah, I forgot to plug in that it sounded like janus/magus was trying to find kid from lucca's letter... maybe he told lucca that he was going to look for schala in ct's dimension and the other lucca found out and thought he'd eventually show up in the CC "another" world, even though he never did...
Its been suggested that the character in CC that resembled Magus was in fact what Janus would be like if he had not gone through hell. Suggesting Schala had taken a Janus foward in time to give him a normal life.
