:huh: If Azala never egsisted some other freak would have taken up arms or some such, or its possible it could have had no effect on anything, lavos squished azalas place pretty good and shut that down pretty much. Its possible that the humans would have had a more rapid growth and descovered lavos sooner... but changing the complete past is almost impossible, magus may never have been born or may never have been shot into the future.... thats really not a very clear question actually.(not that my answer was anybetter)

What if Magus had died during your first confrontation?

Then Lavos would have destroyed the world.

What if Chrono had never bumped into Marle at the Millennial Fair?

Chrono would probably endin up hitting on her anywayz so it deosnt matter

:huh: If he had a mullet he wouldn't be there, theres no mullets in anime. Anyway marle probably would have followed him anyway, it was more sercumstance and mere chance then the way he looked. He was the first person she met.

What if Glenn was killed instead of Cyrus?

Then Cyrus would just move on and not look for revenge, since he is the more subtle type person.
He would judt kill magus for the heck of it.

What if schala was a man

:huh: Then he would be treated as such, and Magus would want to find his brother and not his sister. Not much would change as there was no real romantic intreset with her and her part in the story was more there as a a reason for having magus, nothing collosal would change.


What would happen if doreen never got seperated from masa and mune.

Then Magus would have been influenced more by a brother than a sister, thus being more prone to fighting first and talking later. Being raised so, he would have been stronger being that brothers tend to be rougher than sisters when it come to living with each other. Being raised this way, he would have done a lot more physical damage to Ozzy when they first met, and very well could have killed him. If this were to happen, he never would have become leader of the Mystics, and your confrontation with him may have never happened. The end would still be that Lavos destroyed the world.

Schala would have been much more rebellious towards Queen Zeal, and after noticing what was going on, he would have taken up arms, assuming that she was physically stronger as a man, and fought til the death with Dalton and Zeal. By doing this, Magus would never have carried on looking for him, because he knew that he was dead, and could have killed himself. This eleminates Frog joining your party, being that there is no magus to kill, and your need to go to 65,000,000 bc to repair the masamune to defeat Magus. By this happening, you would never had visited Zeal in the first place, Crono would have never died, and you would never climb Death Peak to revive him. With all this happening, you would miss a lot of gametime, and be horribly underpowered when going up against Lavos. All that means you die, and Lavos destroys earth.

To answer your question Knives, I have no idea. I could guess and say that they would have never come to inhibit the caves in 600 ad, and they would be with Doreen, making it impossible to repair the Masamune.

Well anyway; what would have happend if janus had met Cyrus instead of Ozzie, and glenn was killed at a young age.

well...Ozzie wouldn't replace the cyrus figure, poo Glenn wouldn probably became the Cyrus considering there was no greater warrior than those 2. He wouldn't have a become a frog and probably killed magus and friends later with or without meeting chrono. And I don't think that would change the coming of lavos either

What if Crono lived with his dad and not his mom?

:huh: He would have definitly lived under some more stricker rule, though it may depend on the personality of his father, but I digress, he probably would have had to do his chores before he left for the fair, thus delaying and perhaps completly missing his encounter with marle, it all depends on how much time you think he would have taken in the fair games, he probably would be stronger and or more determind and macho I guess in personaltiy.

What if Marle's father died from sickness instead of her mother.

Then you wouldn't of have to do that one quest where marle, and king are mad at each other....not to mention you wouldn't have to waste 10k on beef jerky.

Than the world of Dinopolis would have come into existance, CC explained that. Dinos would have evolved into the dominate intellegent species and would have a closer relationship with the planet than the humans.

What if chrono fell for lucca instead of Marle?

Her mom would be all depressed, but the trial might not have ever happened because I'm guessing that her mother was much more easygoing.

What if the teleporter didn't work? I'm sure Crono and Marle would have had a great day at the fair and Lucca would've gone insane over fixing the inoperable teleporter.

But after the day was over, would Crono and Marle just say goodbye and go back home or would Marle pull a Disney-esque "I'm actually a princess! Please come to the castle for dinner!".

That would be a boring game.

They would still go through all of that.

What if crono could of never been revived?

:huh: Marle would probably be stricken with greif and continue to search for crono even after lavos was destroyed, as he wasn't integral to the story after he died, he was actually an optional character at that point. She would probably be with lucca searching forever for a way to revive chrono.

What if Schala was thrown back in time instead of Janus (Magus, whatever)?

Dark Schala? Happy Magus?

What if Robo would have attacked instead of following you.

:huh: Then the good guys would have been screwed and stuck in the future, probably locked in the machine plant cause robo wouldn't be there to stop the walls from closing in.

Still think magus would have been dark, and don't think schala would have been turned evil, she was to old for that kind of influence.

What if crono fell for Ayla.

Frog wouldnt have been at the Citadel to help chrono and the gang, magus wouldnt have been summoning lavos, the gang wouldnt have gone back in time. God only knows where Glenn and Cyrus would be.

Then the man at the end of time would never have existed, and therefore the EOT would suck. Because he rocks.

What if Crono had lived in the future originally, instead of 1000 AD?

:huh: Then he likely would have died when lavos appeared, and lucca would go back alone to save marle..... and well I guess Lucca or marle would end up being the main characters.... Lucca would probably fill cronos end in the trial, and it would probably be just them being thrown into the future, I'm not sure what would happen after they go to the future though, as it took 4 people to send them to the end of time the first time.


What if schala had left the ocean palace with the others?

Ouch. Thats a toughie...Ummm...Crono coulda fallen for Schala instead of Marle for one...2) Serge wouldnt necesarrily be saved, since schala wasnt there i nthe first place. 3) everything in Chrono Cross would be diffrent, starting with The Chrononopolis war, onward.

Then she'd be her own ancestor to some extent. Then she won't have any delta brain waves, making her immune to invading brains from space.

:huh: Well Chrono probably would have to wait for Lucca to develope the time key, and he when marle was finally saved she probably would have pointed out that it was glowing and it felt weird so she would have given it to Crono for safe keeping... and if she didn't do that they'd all be big time screwed when the fought lavos the first time.

Well I always figure she wasn't actually wearing the necklace but keeping it in a pocket, and Crono being the observant one figured on putting it on. Course thats just my opion.

She was wearing it since the people saw it glow on her. And the sparkle it emitted came from her chest. I just think that she teleported over into the time portal and left the pendant behind and when Crono jumped onboard, it teleported along with him for some reason. We could just leave it as... "someone wanted it to happen that way".
