Title: Cell shading?

Is it possible to use cell shading in the UT2003 engine?

I have noticed while i was looking at some sprites that
all the characters in the game have a black outline and
it would probably look better if we actually cellshaded
our characters but what do i know :)

The engine probably does not support it unless you would
want to write a new script to it.

The engine supports Cell-Shading in two ways that i now. A somewhat "fake" (it isn't truly fake, but it isn't true cell-shading because it isn't real time rendering) that is more easy to obtain than the other one. The other one is used in the game called XIII (it uses also UT2k3 engine) , if i can snatch the renderer and replace with the original UT2k3 we can have true cell-shading real time rendering, but ofcourse i bet that this isn't easy or compatible. The third method would be to code a cell renderer, and that would be a pain and very difficult way to die  .

I'll post some images with Cell experiments in UT2k3, those are done in the first method. B)

Cool, i have tryed XIII and i liked that renderer.
It was really fast and smooth and i think you get the feel
of the characters that where in the snes game more that way.
