 Heard there bringing Wildarms altercode: F, the remake of the original to the us. I personally can't wait I loved the first one and thought its only real flaw was its graphics. With the revamp coming to the ps2 I can't wait. :D

I was wondering if anyone out there else had played the original.

Yeah I have played/beat the first wild arms, I have the second game but haven't finished it. I played the third a little, but not that much because I just rented it. That does look really cool!

That looks like a really great game, can anyone tell which platform it runs on..... I would really like to check it out ........... Hope its for the PS1 --- I haven't got the money to upgrade :( sadly ...........

I doubt its for PS1...Those are to high poly for PS1...yet then again that isnt PS2'S Full potential.
It burns me to see that the game developers were lazy in the game design

Agreed, I am sure it's not for the PS1 but for some reason I can't help hoping otherwise :) Yes, it is much too high poly for PS1 but even if it is'nt the PS2 full potential I very much like the look of the game ............. I have played too many games were storyline was sidelined for graphics so in I my opionion the story makes the game in regard too RPG's ............

Cheers,

Just re-read your post Knives101 and I must say I feel a little silly, as you have already said the remake was going to be for the PS2. In all honesty I was distracted by the pretty pictures SSJoseph posted.

As regards to your question. No, I have not played the original but would very much like too. What console was the orginal released on ?

Thanks,
Cheers,

 ummm.... wait for the new one, though it was for the ps(and I read above that you don't have a ps2 and prefer story over graphics) well if you honostly and true heartedly could stand through a horribly graphiced game, the story is truely good, its just that the graphics in the battles are so bad it'll leave you thinking.... "dammit the game and watch games had better graphics than this!"... unfortunatly I never beat it but I got pretty close.

Thanks for the info Knives101,
hmmmmmmmm ............ Yeah it sounds like it might be better to wait awhile and play the new version (eventually) ......... But the very fact that you want to play this game after playing the orginal makes it sound like it must have been one great game, with an excelent story ......... Yes, I do prefer storyline over graphics but there is a point where I have I to need them to be half decent to enjoy the game and definatley to enjoy it to it's fullest ...........

"dammit the game and watch games had better graphics than this!" - LOL .............. It's kind of sad when you play a game older or newer that's been let down by its graphics when compared to todays standards ................

I would actually play the older game if they were not remaking it, but after looking at the remake ......... I think I might wait ........... It definately seems like it will be worth the wait :)

Vash

 Waiting is definitly the best way to go at this point, I don't think you'd even be able to find the original in stores right now anyway.

ps; theres an easier way to qoute people, just hit the qoute button on the upper left hand side of the post, it ask for a reply then just scroll down and there'll be another section with the qouted post in it, then just delete what you don't want to qoute and post your replying post.
