Title: Voice Acting?

Well, in both engines is possible to include voice acting, what do you think? Do you think that it might work with good voiceovers? Or you think that will suck?
Which professional Actors do you think that are best for the voices of Frog, Magus, Marle, etc. Discuss here!

You really should include voice acting but only for the major scenes in the game.
I am a singer aslo so i have the ability to alter my voice a bit so i could do someones voice.

I think it could be good, but first we'd have to get 'samples' from everyone and then see if we could do it good or not.. But if we can, then i think we should.

Voice acting...iuno, its a maybe. But professionally it can be done, but maybe not for this project. But if we were to do that, i'd do Magus or one of the bad guys :) i have a gangster/evil voice so yah...

I think a voice for magus should be very similar to Allen Rickman, he is in Dogma (the messenger of god) he is in Galixy Quest (the guy with he funny head) and you probly know him from the Harry Potter Movies, he is Snape.
Marel should sound like Raharu Haruhara Haroukusan (aka Haruku) from FLCL.

Yeah I think voice acaing should be like Kingdom hearts, it would be in most cutscenes but not all. And defently in FMVs, its not like we are going to translate this into Japinease heh.

Just kidding, but I got a real good voice... I can do all sorts of stuff with my voice (and I could easily nab a microphone from Best Buy or something) but I'd only suggest using one voice per character, and telling the people who do the voice: "PERFECTION PERFECTION PERFECTION" because crappy voices can ruin a game... >>'
