Twilight Princess = greatness. I can't believe how awesome it is.

Zelda looks cool. But right now my roommates and I can't stop playing wii sports.
To be more specific. Wii can't stop bowling!
GmMontex03 - November 22, 2006 12:05 AM (GMT)
My coworker says Zelda is worth $250 itself.

Yea, pretty much. I just want to melt the disc down and inject it into my veins.

I think I might get to score a Wii for Christmas, seen? ;)
Sir_Crono531 - November 22, 2006 09:12 PM (GMT)

Magus5311 - November 23, 2006 02:38 PM (GMT)
Oh gah, they're so addictive...

You don't even know how worth it is.

Magus5311 - November 27, 2006 01:17 AM (GMT)
Is that grammatically correct? D:
Sir_Crono531 - November 27, 2006 02:55 AM (GMT)
the 2 posts above u were actually both grammatically...well...bad.. lol
Galidan - November 27, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
That's the problem: When I think about playing Wii and Zelda, my grammatical prowess goes in the toilet. It makes it hard for me to focus.

I woke up at 6 AM on sunday to go to stand in line at EB for one.
I was second in line and they got two in.
...The woman in front of me bought BOTH.
I was so annoyed, seems like they shouldn't be able to do that. =[

You're right. They aren't supposed to do that. I know people who work at EB, and you can't do that. Someone would lose their job for letting that happen.

Magus5311 - December 19, 2006 09:09 PM (GMT)
Yeah-- I just talked to the manager of another EB and he totally said it was against company policy to do that :o
Slash Sigh.
GmMontex03 - December 20, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
When i was in line for my friend for the PS3, noone could sell more than 1 to a person, same with the Wiis. That sucks. They should call the woman and have her sell it to you or return it and have eb sell it to you.
The Mango - December 20, 2006 03:07 AM (GMT)
The woman did nothing wrong, she should be able to keep it.
HOWEVER, file a formal complaint against the clerk who sold it to her.
propagator4 - December 20, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
Seems like a lot of us have our fingers crossed for Christmas then. I just hope that somebody starts stocking them around here very soon.
GalaxyFalcon - December 23, 2006 01:50 AM (GMT)
Anyone recommend where to get one at? lol...
It hurts so bad...I want to play with my Wii :(
Magus5311 - December 23, 2006 02:33 AM (GMT)
EB or Gamestop...
You're freaking lucky if you walk into best buy and they have some in stock ;p
John - December 23, 2006 03:23 AM (GMT)
Yeah, and if you're lucky enough to procure a Wii, then you have the trouble of getting more remotes/nunchucks/classic controllers. My roommate finally got his 4th nunchuck the other day and his search started the day the Wii's came out.
As my Christmas gift to you Magus, I give you my full, unbridled sympathy. My friends got weaseled out of Wii presales in a similar fashion too. The guys in the front of the line were only supposed to get EITHER a Wii preorder or a PS3 preorder. They got both. So a bunch of people waiting in line (my friends) for Wii's were assed out of them. To top it off, they spent the entire night in line.

Galidan - December 23, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
I work at Fred Meyers, a department store on the West Coast. We got 40 Wiis in the other evening, and we put them on the shelves twenty minutes before the store opened. They sold out in half an hour. We open at 7:00AM.

Magus5311 - December 23, 2006 05:20 AM (GMT)
Holy piss.
40 is so much too! They only get 2 / 3 in everytime here.
Hahah and thanks John-- its a killer

SERGEISGOD2 - December 24, 2006 12:09 AM (GMT)
I want a wii.. My friends all want them everyone wants them forget ps3 LONG live Nintendo.
I miss my multi caped words...
Magus5311 - December 24, 2006 01:52 AM (GMT)
You're doing better though.
Would have been a tad better to say:
My friends all want them; everyone wants them; forget ps3, LONG live Nintendo.
Just so it doesn't run together :P

However, it would have been more correct to say, "My friends all want them; everyone wants them. Forget PS3, LONG live Nintendo."
The second instance in which you used the semi-colon does not quite fit, as the two clauses (actually, groups of clauses in this case) you are linking are not closely related enough to require linking. In other words, separating them with a period causes the quote to flow better than linking them with a semi-colon would.
Serge: Listen to Magus. Tryingtosayeverythingallatoncewithoutanyseparationsgetsconfusing.
Magus5311 - December 24, 2006 02:53 AM (GMT)
Wow, owned.
I'm a math person ;-; Aye phail at teh engwish
Still ANY seperation is better than none, as long as you can tell whats what ;p
propagator4 - December 24, 2006 03:48 AM (GMT)
Actually most people would not have known to use the first semi-colon, so that puts you ahead of the pack. I just did that due to a force of habit.
I don't know which of you have been around here long enough to remember, but before Gir came around and started flaunting his "mod-stick" like a hall monitor who gets off by reporting people, I used to settle arguments here by pointing out to either side how stupid they were being. This was usually by pointing out mistakes in their arguments that were similar or exactly the same as the mistakes they were yelling at the other person for. I corrected you for that reason, but in jest.
Magus5311 - December 24, 2006 05:42 AM (GMT)

I happen to remember those times. No offense, Mango, but Gir was an absolute tard when it came to settling arguments. Propagator prevails.

Yeah-- he over used his admin powers. Didn't wanna mess with him.
We're off topic but:
http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/7708/coolguysgb4.jpgSorry-- I just wanted to post that
Back to topic: I'm going to the mall early AM in seach of a Wii. Gamestop
may get one in stock
WolfPack - December 24, 2006 07:48 AM (GMT)
rotf, ya, gir was a bit bloated with his admin powers...
propagator4 - December 24, 2006 10:52 AM (GMT)
On Topic- I went to my friends house again and played Wii tonight. We beat Rayman (Really rushed ending sequence, by the way. The worst I've ever seen.), and beat the tennis champions in Wii Sports. I hope to god my dad found one.
Off Topic- Didn't want to mess with him? Gir was a puppy dog when you let him know what was what and that you weren't scared of him. We got in a private message argument once (at the request of WolfPact, actually, who was tired of watching us argue in public) that pretty much shut him up. Did the Invision crash delete our private messages?
