This might seem like a CRAZY idea but because you have no code done yet and since programers who are willing to donate huge amounts of their time to a none profit game are hard to come by maybe you could consider hiring one?
Well ok that might ba a bit drastic n expensive but a little moneyitery insentive could really move things a long a bit.
Failing that, kidnap one of them and beat him with a stick till he agrees to help you! :P
I actually am (sort of) a programmer, but I lack the skills needed (Unreal) to really be of use. I will gladly assist if I can, but I really can't even research the language until summer. For now, I'm going to have to watch from the sides...
Oh! may I also mention that I know some people who are interested as well. They overall have about the same skill in programming as I do... but some have some skill in making 3D models...
I'm pretty sure that if we could learn the language, we could be pretty useful...
Even I fail to have time to learn Unreal Script decently.
c++, c, berkley sockets programing and data structures is taking much of my free time...
For what i've tested and created, it's not too hard to do cool scripts and new stuff, i just don't have much time to actually code everything myself with the other stuff i have to do for my university classes.
if any of you guys have unreal Tournament 2004 SE edition you would get hours apon hours of tutorials covering everything from modeling to coding.
