Title: The Ancient War
Description: A question needed for a special somthing

GalaxyFalcon - March 23, 2004 10:01 PM (GMT)
ok. Well we all know the war between Chrononopolis and Dinonopolis took place somtime in the past. But when, is a question i need answered. please dont ask why, ;) Also, Some insight as to How exactly it ties in to the kingdom of Zeal, since i know they're pulled back in time, i think i remember it being like 12,000 years ago, or somthing, which means it would be shortly after Zeal fell, or perhaps is the cause of the rise of zeal. I desperately need this insigt. Oh, yes, what happened to Queen Zeal after she was...seduced...by Lavos? i dont even think she dies if you defeat the black omen. So like, what the hell? where did she go after Zeal Fell, or after the Black Omen is destryoed? Well any insight or anything promising will be GREATLY apprecitated. I kinda need more Fact than suggestion, although suggestions and ideas (Reasonable ones..) will be apprecitated, as well. anyway, thanks for some feedback.

I believe Queen Zeal's immortality was only based on her draining power from Lavos, so when Lavos is defeated, you can probably assume that she dies of old age. As for what happened to her after being seduced by Lavos, I think she just sorta chilled out in the ocean palace/black omen after Zeal fell.

GalaxyFalcon - March 26, 2004 08:28 PM (GMT)
ok, thanks. Does ANYONE have ANY info on the Chrononopolis Dinopolism war? as in time, effects on zeal. (I cant for the life of me remember to where they were pulled back to.) well anyway, firther insight would be apprectiated :) thanks.

WolfPack - March 27, 2004 09:39 PM (GMT)
If i remember right, they were pulled back to 12,000 like you said, and Crononopolis won. After the war, it stayed in the El Nindo area. Eventually the people in the city settled the area. As for Dinonopilios, well it was obviously hidden under sky dragon isle.

GalaxyFalcon - March 27, 2004 11:52 PM (GMT)
Duh Wolfpack. I need to be sure of the date, and maybe a little more insight as to what else happened there.

WolfPack - March 28, 2004 01:39 AM (GMT)

Chronopolis

its full name is the "Chronopolis Military Research Center". It is aimed at studying time and the possibility of time travel. Unbeknownst to the scientists working there, the facility's creator (Belthasar) had a hidden agenda which involved using the Frozen Flame to cause the Time Crash. After this occurred, Chronopolis ended up 10,000 years in the past.

Dinopolis

the city of Dragonians that was pulled over from the Reptite dimension. It is commonly accepted that while Lavos pulled the Frozen Flame back through time to it (along with Chronopolis), an equal but opposite reaction forced Dinopolis to be pulled across timestreams as well. After a battle with the Chronopolis workers, Dinopolis was sealed away beneath the waves and the top portion was covered in flora - it was what is known as Sky Dragon Isle.

Lavos purposefully pulled back Chronopolis. But the result is what the above person said... I don't really know why... maybe he wanted the computer FATE. Well, I think you will find that this site is very insightful.

After you read it, you may find that you will be the one answering questions instead of asking them.

WolfPack - April 13, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
I did that with all of CC.

Actually, I don't think Lavos pulled back Chronopolis... rather Devourer of Time did that. I think the main purpose of that was so Lynx could be created, and Serge could be killed. So in a way, Devourer of Time brought Lynx to the world, and Schala brought Kid to the world as a counterpart. Because in the end, it is explained that the Tidal Wave didn't actually kill Serge, it was Lynx arriving at the Tidal Wave, and he killed Serge. And that was the world Kid grew up in... the Serge-Free world. But when she went back in time (Schala set her pendant to do that) it is said that she saved serge. So she probably fended off Lynx. Which of course caused the time split seeing as how she was raised in the world where Serge dies.

So if you think about it, it's as if Schala, and the Devourer of Time were playing chess against each other. She set up Serge's journey to get the Chrono Cross. Devourer saw this ahead of time, so he brought FATE back so it can be there for Serge's time, and create Lynx to destroy Serge. Schala sends Kid to stop Lynx from killing him. Then Lynx goes back to try and kill Kid. Future Serge prevents it from happening. And finally, Serge is ok and gets the Chrono Cross to free Schala so that the Lavos Spawn can't use Schala's power to destroy the world (and Schala can mend the time split).

Well, thats one way of looking at. Then again, theres many ways of looking at it. I'm not sure which one is right. lol

Acidreflux - May 10, 2004 12:27 AM (GMT)
I think Serge and everyone on those islands is a descendant of the 12,000 Chronopolis, and that being the case, bringing back Chronopolis could not have been for the sake of killing Serge. It would have created Serge.

WolfPack - May 10, 2004 12:46 AM (GMT)
Yes they are. So you can say that their genes are from the future too; which could lead to some interesting gentic questions.

Knives101 - May 16, 2004 04:02 PM (GMT)
 I always thought Chronopolis came back on its own, as they were the ones who created the isles in the first place.

WolfPack - May 18, 2004 05:43 AM (GMT)
I think we got it the first time. lol.

No, lavos pulled it and dinotopulis back, where a war took place.

Knives101 - May 18, 2004 04:50 PM (GMT)
 .....sorry it glitched.... woops.

WolfPack - May 22, 2004 04:57 AM (GMT)
Lol. At first i thought it was my eye sight. lol.

GalaxyFalcon - May 29, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
Well its definantley interesting. There appear to be several views on it...all of which appear to be correct. One thing i was wondering, Lavos is difrent from the time devourer...right? how so...i mean...the dragons were in favor of the dragonites, but if the dragons were really lavos then they were simply using the dragonites as a cover story. cough...ok kinda lost myself in my mind...

GalaxyFalcon - May 29, 2004 11:06 PM (GMT)
...and why would belthezar cause the time crash? and why would he need the forzen flame? and how did he know about it?

WolfPack - June 3, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
I think the "dragons" were using the dragonites as more of a wrok force. I mean, look at fort dragonia and terra tower, thier build to almost human scale. Also, i don't think belthezar caused the time crash on purpose, i think one of his experiments went wrong or something.
