Title: Chrono Cross Script Released / Crisis Screens

After a month of preparation, the Chrono Cross script is ready for release. I have this to say about it before you check it out: "The script is organized chronologically and by location. Places are used as headers to lines that take place in said locations. Lines without an identified speaker are titled above with the speaker's name. For lines unimportant to the main plot but whose display is dependent upon game events, they are included as soon as they are accessible in most cases. Chrono Cross is highly divergent at some points, rendering impossible the notion of having a complete, perfect playthrough. Thus, please excuse things that seem out of place. Villager and optional dialogue is also placed in a separate section." That's it! Every bit of dialogue in the game is contained herein. It clocks in at over 3 times the size of Sheamon's self-typed script on Gamefaqs. If you can, check out section five and help me place that last, elusive dialogue. Enjoy!

Chains of Fate's been working day and night on Chrono Crisis, his RPGMakerXP sequel to the Chrono series, and he's got some new material to show. The next demo, currently in development, will be a quantum leap over the last, and will begin in 1999 A.D. with the new characters coming in to this story (rather than having it begin with Crono and team). This gives us a good look into the future world he's creating; screenshots have been released exclusively for the Compendium. Also, the character sketches originally made for the project have been colored. Here are the images:

Awesome, crisis looks like it's coming along very nicely. I see that it looks more to the anime style, that's awesome. Looks great.

Woot, the script is finally coming out. I'm gonna have to check that sometime.

Nice stuff, although I feel a bit stupid for not hearing about this before. Although as I look through the screens it does look very much like it will have the same general feel of CT. Great work!
