Title: Bus bombing in Haifa
Description: 15 dead, 30 wounded

Just recently a bus bombing occured on Moriah Blvd in Haifa, my native city, on Bus 37. It was said that a powerful bomb was placed by a Hamas who killed 15 people on it whlie 40 were found to be just wounded. The bus was on its way to Haifa University when this happened. Israel has gone through a number of terrorist attacks in the past few months. However, a number of them have been intercepted last months before the Hamas ever got a chance to commit their actions. Also, it was found that Yassir Arafat was behind this. The bus was found to be completley destroyed after being blown-up.

The cycle of violence continues and it always will as long as the two countries don't change their policies. I think that both Israeal, and Palestine are at fault here, and when they acknowledge that MAYBE, just MAYBE they could accomplish peace.

Some say that the policies changed ever since 1995 after PM Yitzhak Rabin got assinated by Yigal Amir. This is almost like saying that one little bullet could change everything. He was very well known as a peacemaker. As a native of Israel, I know that every place I might walk into can be bombed. My twin brother was at Hebrew University, in Jerusalem, and was very lucky that the bombing at the Frank Sinatra Bldg came days after he left. The Palestinians never wanted a Jewish State ever since the partition plan by the UN. Arafat almost acts like he doesn't want peace. The only reason why the UN condemns Israel so much is b/c 2/3 of them are either autocracies and/or oligarchies that are 3rd world nations. This is why we can't have the UN relocate in the Twins, b/c then we would want to destroy them. Let them stay where they are now. It's a coincidence that the UN in Jerusalem is located on the Mountain of Evil Advice.

I don't want this thread to go off topic. If you want to talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts in general then another thread should be made about it. Anyway the city Haifa is the only city in Israel to even have a subway. Tel Aviv still doesn't have one and wanting one there is not something brand new. I would hate to see terrorists blow up the subway lines in Haifa killing people. Also, Haifa is known as Israel's working city as well as being the main seaport. Now you know why I use the term "I wonder what would my catch of the day" when it comes to winning sports championships but that's beside the point. Usually Haifa and Tel Aviv are attacked by bus bombings while Jerusalem is attacked on the streets themselves.
