In 2002, the city of Ramat-Gan, which is near Tel Aviv, errected the tallest building in the Middle East known as the Citygate. This building stands at 67 stories and is 244 m. Also, it is the tallest office building in the Mid East as well. A few months ago this building could have been a target when a Hamas had hijacked a plane at David Ben-Gurion Airport that was going from Tel Aviv to Istanbul but was stopped before leaving. A reminder that Ramat-Gan is not part of Tel Aviv nor was it ever so its buildings are completley separate. For years its skyscrapers were never bigger than any of Tel Aviv's skyscrapers until this building was errected. In the future there plans to be a revolving resturaunt on its top floor where you can see all the views of the Tel Aviv area.

Another good thing about the Citygate is that it does NOT cheat for height unlike all the other buildings in the Mid East that use skyline elements. If feel so ashamed that the tallest building in the Mid East uses lattice work. Also, Dubai only has about 10 megascrapers whereas Tel Aviv has REAL density and 10 times as many skyscrapers than you would find anywhere else in that region.
