Rumor has it that this is to be his last season in the NBA and he will retire. Some think that it's right that he should leave mainly b/c he is getting old while others think that he should stay b/c they still feel that he can still play very well. For those who don't known him, he is one of the greatest baskettball players of all time, and is said that he cannot be compared with anybody else. I used to use the famous saying if Michael Jordan was able to come out of retirement then we why can't we rebuild the Twins. Remember that 9/11 had nothing to do with comming out of retirement and that was something that he planned months before it even occured. As for taking the first vote I say that he should stay longer mainly b/c I know he can still play the way he has been known to play. He will play in the All Star Game on 2/9 but as a reserve.
No, he shouldn't retire he's still better than 3/4 of the NBA. No matter how old he gets, people will stay pay to see him.
Actually he did start in the All-Star Game b/c Vince Carter decided to let him start. I'm very sad that he will retire after this season. People find him to be very popular even today. For this he should definatley stay. He just can't be compared with anybody else. He is like his own person. Things that he was known for is the highest carrer scoring average, fastest to reach 25,000 points, most points in a postseason game, most 3's in a half (equaled later by Kenny Smith), most points in a half. named among the 50 greatest players in the NBA, first ever guard to win Defensive Player of the Year, most steals in an All-Star Game, most consecutive double digit games, and the famous repeat the three-peat in winning championships. Here's something that many people don't know about Michael Joradan. Despite the fact that he grew up in Wilimington, NC he is actually a native New Yorker from Brooklyn and left when he was still an infant. However, he does get of a lot of NYC back him for being known for a number of his big games at MSG when playing against the Knicks especially for his "Statue of Liberty" dunk that he did in his rookie season. Also, he has been known for dunking over players that are much bigger than himself.
It turns out that he will retire after this season though I think that he should stay longer.
Rumor has that Michael Jordan will go over with M. L. Carr, who is the stockholder of the new NBA franchise in Charlotte to work with him.
