BTW, what happened to NYSL?

No word yet, Lou Epstein doesn't know either, he suggested we ask Alex or Tugrul, but I wouldn't worry, at least for now?

What do you think is there any thing good we could say about the new designs?

I think that the bases of the new designs are good. The towers themselves are ugly though. There is interesting placement or platforms and I like some of the road and subway systems. Building the Twins with a new base would be the best solution though.

I really don't care for the designs, but its a step in the right direction. Foster's pair of buildings are ugly, but they have occupied height and thats at 1,500 feet! A lot of the other designs don't have occupied height and one of them has COMPLETELY empty towers. The one that resambles those storage tanks as posted in NYCS

Yea i just registered here a minute or so ago because i ca'nt connect to skylobby at all.I'll say what ive said all along,i'd like to see Yamasaki's plans re-used right down to the tuning forks. The new designs do absolutely nothing for me at all.The triangles look like they would fail at the points where they link and the buildings look more like art than buildings. As someone has already stated"Strike two".

Apparently NYSL needs a new host. Anybody who can help I suggest that you contact Tugrul as soon as possible! Getting back to the plans... They got the overall height right this time, yet what they are missing two things; occupied height, and overall space. One thing that made the Twins so great was their sheer bulk. Nowhere else in the world could you find twin towers that went up 110 stories, and had NO setbacks. However, no plan here does that. Instead all of them end up sloping up, leaving much to be desired.

We shouldn't be worrying about reimaging our skyline but we should be rebuilding it.
