I just couldn't think of how Blade will lose a great deal of blood and then gain access to some.

SpiderX - June 17, 2004 12:07 PM (GMT)
From what I've read and heard, this one's gonna be the last movie about Blade. Guess it's true what they say, though. They saved the best for last. :ph43r:

Purple Ranger 14 - June 18, 2004 05:05 AM (GMT)

Blade's Biel Nails It

Jessica Biel, star of the upcoming vampire sequel film Blade: Trinity, told SCI FI Wire that she got so good shooting a longbow for her role as a vampire hunter that she accidentally shot out a $300,000 camera lens with an arrow in a stunt gone awry. "The archery training was some of the hardest training I did," Biel said in an interview at Comic-Con International in San Diego. "It was muscles that you don't even know you use in your back. You have to be really relaxed and really focused. It was hard. It was really, really difficult."

David Goyer, who wrote and directed Blade: Trinity, told SCI FI Wire that the stunt was designed to offer a camera's-eye view of Biel's shooting an arrow. "We've got this camera aimed at her," he said. "She had learned how to shoot the arrow very well. She was 30 or 40 feet away, but she was also up in the air three stories. And all the crew were behind safety [glass]. The only thing that was uncovered was literally a 2-inch-by-2-inch thing right in front of the lens. We said, 'Aim for the camera!' And BAM! Right down the lens, into the housing and into the camera. Destroyed a $300,000 camera. We caught it on film, and we're going to put it on the DVD."

"Are you?" Biel said. "Oh, God."

"It's in slow motion," Goyer said. "She shoots, looks badass and everything like that. There's this pause, and then she's like, 'YEAAAAH!' It was just right in the lens! It embedded like 8 inches."

In the movie, Biel plays a member of a team of young, elite vampire hunters who come to the aid of Blade, played by Wesley Snipes. Blade: Trinity opens Dec. 10.

Actually, two notes about the new Blade movie. The first is that the new movie has now been retitled "Blade: Trinity". Secondly, after the first test screening, the director of the film stated that there are at least THREE different endings. He also made it sound like this may actually not be the end of the franchise. Snipes has recently been quoted as saying that he would be open to the possibility of a fourth movie.

SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TheBookerMan - August 22, 2004 05:21 AM (GMT)
Triple H is also in Blade: Trinity. He plays a vampire with gold fangs!

Purple Ranger 14 - August 22, 2004 05:32 AM (GMT)
What's next??? Kane as Frankenstein???

TheBookerMan - August 23, 2004 04:55 AM (GMT)
What's wrong with Triple H playing a vampire? I heard he was the best villain in the movie.

Purple Ranger 14 - August 23, 2004 05:16 AM (GMT)
Raw Wrestlers playing monsters!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing wrong with that. Rock played a scorpion-like centaur.

Nomytaker - November 10, 2004 06:04 PM (GMT)
I can't really ad anything to this topic other than Blade rocks your boxers, and owns you all.

Purple Ranger 14 - November 11, 2004 05:04 AM (GMT)
I got Blade II on DVD for my birthday this year.

Nomytaker - November 15, 2004 11:18 AM (GMT)

Purple Ranger 14 - November 16, 2004 04:48 AM (GMT)

Nomytaker - November 22, 2004 04:26 PM (GMT)

Purple Ranger 14 - November 23, 2004 06:07 AM (GMT)
I can look whenever I get the chance.

Nomytaker - November 23, 2004 06:03 PM (GMT)
I asked one on my mates over here, and this is what he said.
QUOTE
Blade four will be release straight after Blade 3, both have been fully filmed, and they'll be out sometime this year

If that is true or not I don't know, but sounds good all the same.

Purple Ranger 14 - November 24, 2004 05:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah.

Purple Ranger 14 - November 28, 2004 04:58 AM (GMT)
Jessica Biel was on Letterman and she talked about her dog named East.

TheBookerMan - December 2, 2004 10:31 AM (GMT)
The guy who made the bows that Biel used in Blade: Trinity lives and works in the same town as me. My boss met him and he said he's really nice and a great guy to talk to. Takes pride in his work too.

As for those reports about a Blade 4, I believe that has since become one of two things. First off, there were reports that Biel and Reynolds will star in a Nightstalkers spinoff from Blade 3. That has since been confirmed I believe. It is just a matter of scheduling it with Reynolds since he make take the lead in the movie adaptation of the hit comicbook Deadpool. That's a great book by the way. Read that damn thing cause he's perfect for it!

Second, every single news outlet is now reporting that this will in fact be the final Blade film. I'm one of those people who say "Never say never" but Snipes is ticked anyway. He wrote a letter to the execs at New Line Cinema, the folks behind the distribution of Blade: Trinity and stated that he felt the focus wasn't on Blade, but on Whistler's daughter and Hannibal King, the characters played by Biel and Reynolds. He's really raising some hell over it too and I heard they cannot find him to do promotions(talk shows, premieres). He's acting like a big baby, and yes I can understand wanting to be the focus, but be a professional and do what it takes to promote the movie Wes.

Personally, I cannot wait to see this film. It's sad that this is looking like it will very much be the end of the franchise, but if it is then at least they are ending it before it gets sequelized to death with different folks playing Blade and Whistler. I hope this movie blows everything else outta the water. It would be a fitting way to have the franchise go out. Take it out with a bang boys and girls.

Purple Ranger 14 - December 5, 2004 06:41 AM (GMT)
Don't forget that Reynolds is engaged to marry Alannis Morrisette!!!

Nomytaker - December 6, 2004 12:29 PM (GMT)
According to the newspaper, Blade 3 is about Dracula. :)

Purple Ranger 14 - December 7, 2004 05:16 AM (GMT)
Blade, Hannibal & Abigail take on Dracula aka Drake.

TheBookerMan - December 9, 2004 05:26 AM (GMT)
Ryan Reynolds was on Conan the other night and he told Conan that he went home and told his girlfriend and fiance, Alanis Morrisette as Bobby has pointed out to me thank you Bobby :), in a raunchy way that he shot a guy on the set lol!

Purple Ranger 14 - December 10, 2004 04:54 AM (GMT)
Any time. Cool.

Nomytaker - December 10, 2004 08:10 PM (GMT)
Blade: Trinity was a world wide showing at Cinemas.
But I don't think I'll be going to the cinema to see it. Unfortunately.

Purple Ranger 14 - December 11, 2004 05:20 AM (GMT)
Russell & I plan to see it this weekend.

Purple Ranger 14 - December 12, 2004 05:45 AM (GMT)
We saw it. It ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loads of comedy, action & cussing.

TheBookerMan - December 12, 2004 06:56 AM (GMT)
Thanks Bobby. That makes me feel good knowing you saw it. Critics who write for newspapers are ripping on it. Half of them don't watch the movie anyway but still, that's gonna hurt the movie a little bit.

BTW, Blade: Trinity as of Friday, December 10th had made about $14 million. Not bad at all guys. Looks like that Nightstalkers spinoff might happen. It's not doing as well as Blade II did but that's mainly cause WB stuck Ocean's 12 in tons of theatres that Blade: Trinity would have had probably.

Purple Ranger 14 - December 12, 2004 07:14 AM (GMT)
Russell & I were in the exact same auditorium that my family & I saw "National Treasure" in.

Nomytaker - December 15, 2004 07:28 PM (GMT)
My Dad just got it on DVD, just need to get some time to watch it.

Purple Ranger 14 - December 16, 2004 05:22 AM (GMT)
