Dino Thunder, Power Up!!!

The Missing Bone
The next morning, I had just arrived at Tommy’s place when I saw something. It was a Fighting-Type Pokémon called Makuhita. I read its mind to see if it had a trainer and it didn’t. I knew I had to capture it and reached for one of my Poké Balls. I threw it and out came my Mudkip.
I could tell that Makuhita knew that someone wanted to capture him and I told Mudkip to use Mud-Slap. Mudkip used his tail to pick up some mud and swung it to hit Makuhita. Makuhita got mad and started throwing punches for an Arm Thrust attack. I told Mudkip to dodge and use Water Gun. Mudkip did as I said and nailed Makuhita with a powerful burst of water. Makuhita was weakened and I threw a Poké Ball at it. The ball hit Makuhita and he went in.
The ball shook for a few seconds before stopping and I picked it up. I thanked Mudkip for helping me catch Makuhita and he gave me a hug. I had Makuhita come out of his Poké Ball and welcomed him to the team. He bowed and said he was honored. We went inside Tommy’s house and I introduced him to my newest Pokémon.
Tommy asked me what type it was and I told him it was a Fighting-Type that was also used by a Gym Leader named Brawly. Tommy thought it was cool and I asked him what Zordon was like.
“He was like a father to the Rangers & I. He gave some of his own energy to help me keep the Green Ranger powers until they fully diminished. He gave us our weapons and kept a close eye on all of us. Even when we were asleep. When he left for Eltar, it was the saddest thing to ever happen to us. But we knew he had to save his home planet. I’m glad you got to meet him before you & Andros had to destroy him to save the world.” Tommy said.
“I am too, Tommy. I cried afterwards because I had to destroy somebody who chose people to save the world & they became my heroes. Just like you.” I said.
“Thanks, Bobby. Could you tell Cole & the other Red Rangers you fought side by side with that I said ‘hi’ and tell them what I’ve been up to when you see or hear from them again?” he asked.
“Sure. Want me to tell them about you being back in black & stuff?” I asked.
“Of course. I was gonna send Jason an e-mail to tell him but you can.” Tommy said.
“I’d be honored, Tommy.” I said as Tommy gave me Jason’s e-mail address. “I’ll entitle it ‘A Message From Tommy Oliver’s Friend & A Fellow Power Ranger’ so he knows.” I said.
“Good idea. Have any visions lately?” Tommy asked.
“Not since foreseeing Trent kicking our butts and forming the Dino Stegazord. Besides, my visions are usually random and in the form of dreams. I actually foresaw me becoming a Power Ranger after Andros & I destroyed Zordon. I think Zordon might have instilled some new abilities in me that bittersweet day since I somehow became smarter than I originally was.” I said.
“Interesting point.” Tommy said.
Kira arrived and she seemed kind of confused. We asked what was wrong and she told us that Anton Mercer was subbing for Tommy as we took stock on bone inventory. She said it was weird and Tommy explained how Mercer taught him everything he knew. Kira found an interesting bone and Tommy said that it was a very special bone that needed to be kept in his hands. She mentioned going on a field trip to the same museum that was closed the day we got our Dino Gems and I told her that I’d have to sign Kevin’s permission slip since I was the head of the house.
The next day, I had just wiped down a table at Hayley’s Cyberspace when Conner & the others arrived. My spider-sense went off when I saw Kira and thought it was weird since she was my friend & teammate. She sat by herself at the bar and Hayley seemed a bit worried. So did the guys and I had Squirtle wet down another table. Conner & the guys asked Kira if she wanted to go see a movie and she refused & stomped away in an attitude similar to my sister Amanda’s.
An hour later, we arrived at the Dino Cave and we told Tommy about Kira acting very strange. Ethan reminded Conner about how he tended to accidentally anger people as Tommy said that we had a bigger problem. He told us that the bone that Kira was fascinated by was missing. He explained that he & Mercer attempted to create a dinosaur called Fossilador that had mind control powers years ago and as long as Tommy had the main support bone, it could never come to life. We figured that Kira could have taken it and sure enough, a gigantic, skeletal dinosaur appeared on the monitors attacking the city shortly after Hayley & Aubrey arrived.
Hayley tried to find Kira as Conner, Ethan, Kevin & Sebastian figured out that Kira must have had come into contact with Fossilador when she disappeared during their field trip to the museum with Anton Mercer because she started acting very strange after that. Tommy told Hayley to get to the museum & try to find Kira while we went to hold off Fossilador.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up! Dino Power!” we yelled.
We hopped onto our Raptor Riders and started following Fossilador when Zeltrax zapped us. He had Triptoids appear and we fought them until Tommy suggested we deal with Fossilador. He called for the Brachiosaurus and it arrived.
The Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Allosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Iguanodon & Kentrosaurus came out and attacked Fossilador but were beaten down. We had them combine to form a helmetless Thundersaurus Megazord. Conner said this wasn’t going to be easy and Fossilador started beating us up. Conner asked Tommy if there was any word from Kira yet and he told us there wasn’t & to hang on.
Fossilador blasted us and we heard a familiar screech. It was Kira and she was riding the Pterodactyl Dinozord. She activated her Ranger powers and combined the Pterodactyl to complete the Megazord. We complimented Kira on her perfect timing and she thanked us.
We blasted Fossilador and cut one of his claws off with the Ptera Rang. But it grew back and he gave us a dose of prehistoric breath. He zapped us with a large surge of electricity and Tommy told Kira to aim for the spot where the missing bone was because he was most vulnerable there. We powered up the Dino Drill and drilled right through the base of Fossilador’s neck to destroy him.
After we got back to the Dino Cave, we told Kira how great it was to have her back to normal. Conner said something offensive but apologized. Kira said that it was extremely weird that most of Fossilador was stored at Anton Mercer’s museum and we agreed with her.
