Truth And Consequences
The next morning, I was dreaming about meeting my pharaoh Yugi Moto when I was awaken by the phone ringing. I answered it and it was Hayley. She said that Tommy had been fossilized by the White Ranger and to get to the Dino Cave right away. I told her I’d be there and woke up Aubrey & Kevin using my telepathic abilities. I put on some clothes, woke up Agumon, Mushroomon & MarineAngemon and made breakfast fast. I had some of my Pokémon get into their Poké Balls, gave Kevin & Aubrey breakfast and we bolted to the Dino Cave.
When we got there, we saw Kira, Ethan, Sebastian & Conner. Hayley was scanning Tommy and I noticed that he now looked like a prehistoric bug in amber. Hayley finished and we saw the status on the computer. She said he was fossilized & fused into an amber-like substance and Conner asked if she could get Tommy out of it. Hayley replied by saying that Tommy’s able to stay alive in there but that it’d be too risky to break him out of there.
Ethan said something with sarcasm but I didn’t pay attention because I was too worried about my friend & hero who was trapped. Kira got angry and said she had enough of the White Ranger and we couldn’t blame her. Conner said we better find out who he is and deal with him immediately.
We decided to split up and search the city. I decided to search by air and started web-slinging around but I found no trace of him. I realized that I was late for work and went to Hayley’s Cyberspace.
When I got to Hayley’s Cyberspace, she was really busy with helping customers. I told her that I couldn’t find any sign of the White Ranger telepathically as I went to run a viral scan on the computer that Ethan was at when he was sucked in by Demagnetron a month ago. Conner & the others arrived and so did Trent.
Trent seemed a bit dazed & bewildered and I overheard him say he was quitting after Hayley told him she needed his help. He said he just has to quit after Hayley asked if it was because of his dad. Kira tried to talk to Trent as he left but was interrupted by Cassidy being a major pain and bragging about having the scoop of the century.
She said she uncovered the identity of the White Ranger and that Devin would be coming in any second with the video to prove it. She waited for what seemed like an eternity for Devin to arrive and I could hear him say he loaned his sister his video camera. Cassidy was ticked off more than my sister Amanda was when I told her that her friend Holly was a mutant like me. I continued running the viral scan and Hayley gave me some lunch.
I had just finished eating my 14 meatball subs when Conner told me that there was trouble. We left Cyberspace and went to see what the disturbance was on our Raptor Cycles.
When we got to where the disturbance was, we saw Elsa, Zeltrax & the White Ranger. We got off our Raptor Cycles and Ethan asked which side we should take. Conner agreed with him but the question was answered when Zeltrax & Elsa fled. The White Ranger said that we should run away too and Kira said we wouldn’t. Conner pulled out his ThunderMax Saber while the rest of us used our Power Weapons and attacked the White Ranger. He struck us with his Pterano Sword and knocked Kira against a wall. Kira was mad and something awesome happened.
“Super Dino Mode!” she yelled.
Within seconds, the white spots of her suit went 3-D & spikes shot out of the back of her boots. She also grew wings that allowed her to take flight like her Dinozord.
She used her wings to clobber the White Ranger before taking flight. She swooped down and grabbed the White Ranger by the head with her feet and sent him flying through some fences & onto the ground. The White Ranger was mad and knocked Kira out of the sky with Laser Arrows.
We managed to gather around Kira and we fired our ThunderMax Blasters. The White Ranger deflected the blasts back at us and Kira tried to kick the White Ranger but he blocked it. She tried to backhand him but it was blocked as well. He used his Pterano Sword and slashed Kira several times to make her spin onto the ground. She was about to get up when she got hit by more Laser Arrows and that caused her to power down.
I could sense Kira’s pain and Ethan tried to help her. He got slashed by the White Ranger and the rest of us tried to do the same thing but met with the same fate as Ethan. The White Ranger knelt down and was about to hit her when something happened after he looked at her face. I sensed confusion & shock flooding his mind and Conner, the others & I knew what we had to do.
“Super Dino Mode!” we yelled.
The white spots on Ethan’s suit shot upward like real spikes while Kevin’s shot forward like the spikes that I’d shoot out of my body. Sebastian’s spikes ran down the center of his back like his Dinozord and Aubrey’s white spots got bigger & bulkier. My spots shot out in every direction while a horn shot out from the top of my helmet. Spikes also shot out of the back of our boots and we attacked the White Ranger.
We defeated him and he retreated after saying he’d be back. We powered down and helped Kira up. We asked if she was okay and she said she was fine. We agreed that we should leave and we all went to the Dino Cave. Except for Kira who went to look for Trent.
An hour later, Kira arrived at the Dino Cave with some shocking news. Trent was the White Ranger! Conner was mad beyond belief and so was everyone else but Hayley & I. Kira told us that the White Dino Gem was too powerful and it was forcing Trent to do those things to us. Kira mentioned that Trent was waiting for us where she found him so we could help him. Conner told Kira to quit defending him and Ethan pointed to Tommy to remind her what Trent had done. Kira told Hayley that Trent needed our help and Hayley said she didn’t know if there was anything she could do but she’d try. Conner said that Hayley wasn’t gonna leave without us because he had some “stuff” he wanted to say to Trent. Then we left to see Trent.
When we got there, we found no sign of Trent anywhere. Kira found his sketchbook and Ethan asked her if she was surprised that Trent lied to us again. I picked up a weird, familiar scent and recognized it as Tyrannodrones. I figured they must have captured him but decided not to tell the others. Conner said that Trent couldn’t be trusted and we went back to the Dino Cave.
Half an hour later, Hayley said she was picking up Trent’s signal and we looked at the monitors to see him summoning the Pteranodon & Stegosaurus Dinozords. Trent entered the Pteranodon and had the two zords combine into the Dino Stegazord. Hayley said now would be a great time to use a new Dinozord and we activated our Dino Morphers. Conner told Kira that we had to do whatever it took to stop Trent and she understood.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up!” we yelled.
The Brachiosaurus appeared in the city and unleashed our Dinozords. We ran, jumped into our zords and had them combine into the Thundersaurus Megazord. Then Hayley sent us the brand new Dinozord.
Out from the ground came a huge, orange wheel with spikes spinning and a drill-like tail. It was the Ankylosaurus Dinozord! It walked between the Megazords and Trent had the Dino Stegazord approach the Ankylosaurus. We knew he was gonna try & steal it from us so we had the Thundersaurus Megazord grab the Ankylosaurus’ head while the Dino Stegazord grabbed its tail.
It was tug-of-war Megazord style as we pulled and the Ankylosaurus held onto us with its mouth. The Ankylosaurus had its tail spin and it hurt the Dino Stegazord’s hand. We had the Megazord let go of the Ankylosaurus and the two Megazords fell. We had the two Megazords fight each other until we got knocked down again. The Dino Stegazord hit us with its claws and a nasty kick.
Suddenly, the Ankylosaurus spun the spikes on its back and fired a missile out of its tail at the Dino Stegazord. Hayley told us to combine the Ankylosaurus with the Megazord and we did as she told us.
The Triceratops detached from the Megazord and the Ankylosaurus replaced it. We formed the Thundersaurus Megazord Dual Drill Mode and showed off the new arm to Trent.
Trent had the Dino Stegazord fire lasers out of its eyes but we had the Megazord turn around and had the Ankylosaurus’ spikes spin to deflect the blasts back at the Dino Stegazord. We struck the Dino Stegazord with the Ankylosaurus’ tail and knocked it off balance.
We had lightning strike the Ankylosaurus & Tyrannosaurus’ tails as they started spinning and delivered a Double Drill Attack to slash the Dino Stegazord. We stabbed the Dino Stegazord with the Ankylosaurus’ tail and we defeated Trent & the Dino Stegazord. Then the Dino Stegazord got back up & left and we went back to Hayley’s Cyberspace.
Ethan was trying to show Conner a new computer game but he was too angry at Trent. I was doing some research on real Ankylosaurs while Kevin was studying for a history test he had in a few days. Aubrey was doing research on prehistoric plants as Sebastian was downloading pictures of the Reefside Fishermen. And Kira was nowhere in sight.
Cassidy started making the same announcement she made earlier about the White Ranger but was stopped when she found out that Devin’s sister recorded the birth of a baby over the White Ranger footage. Cassidy fainted and I had Totodile wake her up with his Water Gun. I went back to doing my research and ate 30 chocolate chip cookies for a snack.
Kira arrived and she seemed really upset. She told us that Trent decided to leave so he wouldn’t hurt us. Conner said it was a lie because Trent was probably thinking of how to ambush us when we’d least expect it and I told him to shut up. I couldn’t blame Trent for wanting to leave and went back to work.
