White Thunder
A week later, I got a call from Tommy saying to meet him in the Petrified Forest because he found something. I whistled for my Fearow and I hopped onto his back. I told him to take me to the Petrified Forest and he obeyed me.
When I got there, I saw the others and we found Tommy. He said he found what looked like a storage unit that had energy readings so intense that they were off the charts. We asked him what kind of energy it was and he said it was the same one that’s in our morphers. We realized that it was another Dino Gem and asked him why he didn’t mention anything about it. He said someone obviously kept it well hidden until they deactivated the cloaking device that shielded it. We asked him if it was good or bad news and he said it depended on who got it. We agreed to go back to the Dino Cave and we left.
An hour after we got back, a monster called Blast Lion appeared in Reefside. It was part lion, part missiles & part dandelion. He seemed to be looking for something and we decided to go fight him.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up!” we yelled and went to fight Blast Lion.
When we found him, he pointed out our colors and said he was looking for white. We had no idea what he was talking about and he blasted us. We got back up in time to see him get destroyed by a streak of white. We decided to go after it when it started to flee.
The streak stopped and it was a White Ranger. We were amazed at what we were looking at and we wondered who it was and asked Tommy if he was a friend of his. Then he spoke.
He warned us to leave him be and pulled out his White Pterano Sword. He swung the bottom of his weapon as though he was drawing something in the air and created Laser Arrows that hit us. We got up and he struck us before disappearing.
We went back to the Dino Cave and took our helmets off. Hayley said she couldn’t get a lock on the White Ranger’s DNA for some strange reason and we thought it was weird.
A few minutes later, the White Ranger returned. We knew what we had to do and we went back to confront him.
When we got there, we tried to reason with him but he wouldn’t go for it. Instead, we fought him and he hit us with Laser Arrows again before he streaked past us as he drew an X on all of us. The marks exploded and caused us to hit the ground. He said he wasn’t there to make friends and there was seven Rangers too many. We tried to fight him again but he didn’t flinch.
All of us, minus Conner, fired our ThunderMax Blasters but he deflected them. Tommy arrived and told us to not fight because we didn’t know what kind of powers he had. The White Ranger said he planned to defeat us and we used our ThunderMax Sabers after he angered most of us. He was able to beat us up and we used our weapons. We hit him and he had his morpher to take hit and he drained us of our energy. It caused us to power down as Tommy tried to fight him but met the same fate as we did.
Conner tackled him and got beaten before he powered down. We regrouped and the White Ranger told us to stay out of his way as he disappeared again. Tommy said we got big trouble now and that made us feel even more bummed out when we got back to the Dino Cave.
Tommy said that things like this were known to happen and we became a lot more bummed. I told them that it reminded me of when I first fought Hunter, Blake, Ryan & Merrick before they became my friends. Tommy said we needed to figure out who the White Ranger was and what he wanted. We agreed with him and started to work on some ideas.
A few days later, I tried to get the White Ranger off my mind by working non-stop at Cyberspace. I waited tables and Agumon do viral scans on the computers near the front window. Cassidy walked in and seemed excited until she showed Devin a CD she got. She got angrier than a Snorlax when a Dream Eater attack is used on it and stomped out of the place as Ethan & Kira walked in.
Hayley asked them if they’d seen Trent because he hadn’t been showing up and Trent arrived late. He seemed really sick and he persisted in working. Ethan made reference to a new video game that he recently played and Trent went to work.
We got a call from Tommy, via our Dino Bracelets, and he told us to meet us in the Dino Cave. Kira said she was still getting gravel out of her hair from our last battle with the White Ranger and we left to go see what Tommy wanted.
When we got to the Dino Cave, Tommy & the others had gathered around the monitors. We asked what was going on and Tommy showed us two new Dinozord eggs. One was in a warehouse and the other was at a power plant. Ethan wondered if this was how Easter was like millions of years ago and Conner said only he would say something like that. We decided to split up to try & retrieve the eggs. Tommy, Ethan, Kevin & Aubrey took the egg at the plant and Conner, Kira, Sebastian & I went to get the egg at the warehouse.
When we got to the warehouse, Conner held the Fossil Finder and he said it doesn’t make sense when he couldn’t get a reading. He complained and said that Ethan was better at it. Kira took it from him and immediately got a reading coming from a dark area of the warehouse. She complained about how she hates dark places and we found the White Ranger. He was giving energy to the Dinozord egg and we discussed whether or not we should talk to the White Ranger first. We walked up to him and he hit us with Laser Arrows. Then we activated our Dino Morphers.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up! Dino Power!” we yelled.
We got ready to fight but the White Ranger streaked past and beat us up. We tried using our ThunderMax Sabers but the White Ranger knocked us down hard. We were getting up when Hayley contacted us. She said a giant monster called Angor was attacking the city. We knew we had to stop him but we couldn’t leave the White Ranger alone with the egg. The White Ranger told us to take a hike and go save the city because he’d just thrash us even more. We knew he was right and went to the power plant to find Tommy, Ethan, Aubrey & Kevin.
Once we got to the plant, we found them and a new Dinozord. The Parasaurolophus Dinozord! We told them that the city was under attack and they activated their morphers.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up!” they yelled.
Tommy said that the Brachiosaurus & the other Dinozords were on their way and he told us to take care of Angor while he went to go stop the White Ranger. We acknowledged his idea and the Dinozords arrived. We jumped into our zords, logged in and activated the Thundersaurus Megazord transformation sequence.
We started fighting Angor and we hit him with an Allo Kick before hitting him with an Iguano Zap. We hit him with the Tricera Fist, the Tyranno Tail & the Ptera Rang and he backed up a little bit.
Angor jumped into the air and blasted us with his lasers and that called the Megazord to fall. He started hopping on us non-stop and was about to do a body slam when we hit him with a Fire Breath attack that shot out of the Tyrannosaur’s mouth. We had the Parasaurolophus combine by attaching itself where the Tyrannosaur’s tail was and formed the Thundersaurus Megazord Scissors Mode. We used the Parasaurolophus’ tail to cut Angor’s laser in two and then tossed him. Then we powered it up to cut Angor to pieces for a Final Cut.
We defeated Angor and contacted Tommy. We asked if he found the egg and he said he got sidetracked by Zeltrax but he did find it.
Suddenly, the whole warehouse started shaking and something huge appeared. It was the Pteranodon Dinozord! We realized that the White Ranger managed to make the egg hatch as he jumped onto it. He said that if he was to have the gear, he has to have a zord. Then he activated the Pteranodon and we got ready.
The White Ranger told it to do its thing and he jumped off. The Pteranodon started flapping its wings and created a tornado before taking flight for the first time. It came at us as its left wing started glowing and hit us. It reminded me of a Skarmory’s Steel Wing attack as it hit us a couple more times.
We needed some help and Tommy called for the Stegosaurus Dinozord but the White Ranger ended up stealing it from us. He entered the Pteranodon after it grabbed the Stegosaurus and ordered them to combine.
The two zords got some serious altitude and the Pteranodon broke into five pieces. The wings bent in half and formed legs & a waist while the Pteranodon’s feet connected to the Stegosaurus’ sides to form arms. The Stegosaurus formed the body & the head when two things on the underside of its neck flipped up to reveal a face. The Pteranodon’s head & body formed a spear-like weapon called the Dino Stegazord Stinger. The two zords formed the Dino Stegazord!
We asked him why he was doing this and said that he was losing it. He replied by saying that WE were losing it and we were losing it to him. He struck us with the Stegazord Stinger and we had the Parasaurolophus’ tail grab it.
We hit him with the Tricera Fist and had the Parasaurolophus detach from the Megazord. We powered up the Tyrannosaur’s tail to do a Dino Drill Attack but the White Ranger had the Stegazord launch the Stegazord Stinger and it damaged the Megazord. We all fell out as the Megazord broke apart and Tommy checked on us while we got back on our feet.
“Since when are there evil Rangers?” Ethan asked.
The Dinozords were hurt badly and Tommy tried to bring back the Stegosaurus to our side when the White Ranger attempted to take the rest of our zords. It definitely worked as the Dino Stegazord broke apart and the two Dinozords fled the scene. Tommy said that he doubts what he did to the Stegosaurus would last because the White Ranger’s power over it was so strong.
When we got back to the Dino Cave, Conner said that this was the worst day ever and Ethan agreed as Tommy said there’d be a lot of days like this. Kira asked about the phrase “The Glass Is Always Half Full” as Tommy said that sometimes the glass is empty. He said it’s then we’d have to dig deep inside and that’s when the qualities that made us Rangers become the most important. He told us we should go out & have some fun and asked Ethan if there was a new video game he wanted to try. Ethan said that for once, he had no desire to be at a computer and Kira said she hadn’t picked up her guitar in days. Tommy said that doing these things might help us keep our minds off of what had happened and that it was teacher’s orders and we left the Dino Cave.
When I got to Hayley’s Cyberspace, Hayley walked up to me and asked if I was all right after what had happened. I told her that I had experienced beatings like that before and telepathically reminded her of my previous Ranger days. I went to work running a viral scan on the computers near the stage as Cassidy walked in covered in feathers. Hayley helped her out and Devin walked in looking just as bad. They both wreaked and I had my Bayleef come out and had her use Sweet Scent to emit a pleasant aroma that would cover the bad smell.
Twenty minutes later, I called Bayleef back and told Hayley where I was going. She understood and I left.
When I got to the Dino Cave, I saw Kira & the others, minus Conner, and we walked up to Tommy as he was typing up some things on the computer. We told Tommy that we were having a tough time trying to get our minds off of the White Ranger. Tommy said it was understandable and the alarms went off. We looked at the monitor and saw Angor again and he obviously got a major upgrade. We were about to go face him when Conner contacted us and we saw him fighting the White Ranger in a quarry. He needed help and we agreed to split up.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up! Dino Power!” we yelled to activate our morphers & powers.
Ethan, Sebastian & Kevin hopped onto their Raptor Cycles and went to help Conner. And Tommy, Kira, Aubrey & I ran to the city on foot to take on Angor.
When we got to where Angor was, he spotted us and Tommy called for all of the Dinozords that were attachments except the Stegosaurus. The Pachycephalosaurus, Dimetrodon, Archelon, Coelophysis, Archaeopteryx, Ichthyosaurus & Parasaurolophus arrived and attacked Angor.
The Parasaurolophus & Coelophysis used their tails to hurt Angor as the Dimetrodon lunged itself at Angor, with its blade at maximum spin, while the Ichthyosaurus speared him. The Archaeopteryx & Archelon used their limbs to inflict some damage on Angor. And the Pachycephalosaurus punched Angor like a boxer while Tommy blasted Angor with his Brachio Staff & the rest of us used our ThunderMax Blasters.
Minutes later, Angor vanished and that confused us. Tommy accessed the computers at the Dino Cave via his Brachio Morpher and managed to locate Angor. He was where Conner was fighting the White Ranger. We bolted to the quarry and got there in time to see the Dino Stegazord battle Angor.
Angor had the Dino Stegazord tied up in chains but it broke free. The Dino Stegazord got a major power boost and parts of the Stegosaurus got bigger. It jumped into the air and started doing somersaults as it delivered a Tail Attack by hitting Angor with the Stegosaurus’ tail. Then it fired a Stega Laser and it destroyed Angor. The White Ranger & the Dino Stegazord left and so did we.
On our way to the Dino Cave, Conner told us about how he was following Trent when he lost him and got attacked by the White Ranger from out of nowhere. He also told us about how when he got really angry, the white parts of his Ranger suit when 3-D and gave him incredible power. He called it Super Dino Power and we thought it was mega awesome.
Once we got back to the Dino Cave, we talked about how confusing it was that the White Ranger destroyed one of Mesogog’s monsters. Conner asked about the Super Dino Power and Tommy said we had only tapped the surface of our Ranger powers. Conner said he’d get the Fossil Finder since he left it at the warehouse where the Pteranodon hatched but Tommy insisted that he’d get it himself and told us to go home & get some serious rest. Conner said he wondered about how Trent was feeling as we all went home.
