Hathaway Enterprises is one of the nation's top companies. However, the company, and its CEO's public image are almost completely soiled, after what some may consider dubious business practices. Desperate to gain a new positive image, Hathaway Enterprises constructs a set of Ranger powers, with the Ranger positions going to a token group of people. Little to anyone's knowledge, an evil force rises in the form of Baron Electrex, and his collection of the worst scum in the universe. After Electrex's first attack, these new Power Rangers must now defend San Fortuna from further attacks, and prove to the world that their existence is more than just a publicity stunt.

After taking a year off from doing this sort of thing, I'm back doing what I've done with Magi, Bouken, and Geki (to an extent), and am still doing with Deka. At this point you might be wondering about why this series isn't samurai themed like its basis, and that's because I'm using Shinken's samurai styling as a springboard to do some social satire, mostly based on a cynicism of mine that when a big faceless American corporation (like Disney) takes something from another culture (like samurai) they more often than not screw it up somehow. But anyway I hope everyone enjoys this, and as always for more info click on my sig.

Disney did okay for pr, but i think phil's take-on is better. Maybe he can help me with a good premise for my element quest team.

Episode 4 added. Next time: Electrex sends down a monster obsessed with duality to see which, if any, of the Rangers has a double nature.

Episode 5 added. Next time: the Rangers discover that there's still some negativity towards them, while Electrex launches his biggest attack on Earth to date, and captures one of the Rangers for a "nice friendly chat".

Episode 6 added. Next time: the Rangers break away from whatever preconceived notions the public may have of them, and get some new toys along the way.

Episode 7 added. Next time: now that the Rangers have proven that they're more than just a publicity stunt, they're about to lose a little bit of privacy.

Episode 8 added. Next time: a local women's talk show has a discussion on which of the female Rangers is the better role model.

I like your style, a lot better than the ones I've seen or have not seen as yet so far. Does that give any hint Eddie?

Yeah it does.

Episode 9 added. Next time: what do you get when the noxious fumes that a monster spews creates a toxic residue when washed away with regular water? An excuse to break out a new saltwater-based Zord, that's what.

Episode 10 added. Next time: the guys fall for a girl who's exactly what Hall and Oates were singing about in "Maneater".

Episode 11 added. Recommended listening for this episode is "Maneater" by Hall and Oates, and "Poison Ivy" by Meshell Ndegeocello. Next time: when a new villain shows up on Electrex's ship and instigates a mutiny, which causes Electrex to decide to turn over a new leaf and join the Rangers. But is Electrex being sincere, or is he just out to get the newly developed Metal Tiger Samurai Zord?

Episode 12 added. Next time: the three auxiliary Zords combine, and Ken contends with a plagiaristic classmate.

This is sounding more like a soap opera.

Actually the whole plagiarism angle in the next ep is a way for me to mock this one guy who's not only plagiarized a few of my own series, but even hotlinked a few of my pics for his "series".

If he's anything like another copycat we know, I doubt he'll get the idea.

Episode 13 added. Next time: an episode that was inspired from a clip of Spongebob I saw in a documentary I downloaded a while back, borrows a plot point from an episode of Recess, pays homage to Carlin and Python, and acts as a bit of a slight to some of the self-righteous people of the world. Oh and it also features the first appearance of a Megazord super formation, and a monster that talks like a certain Decepticon communications officer.

Now if Eddie can do exactly what you are doing, we wouldn't have to be complaining all the time.

Episode 14 added. Next time: a typical monster attack story, but NOT told from the Rangers' POV.

Episode 15 added. Next time: finding himself bored on his ship, Electrex has a reality manipulating monster created, in order to use the Rangers as fodder for a series of different TV shows. And it'll be coming up very soon.

Well that's what happens when you write an episode a month in advance before you've got its predecessor written. And this actually isn't the first time that I've done something like this (see Primal Strike). Either way the next two eps being released close to one another will actually be intentional since new Ranger intro=double release.

Coolness. Am having serious writer's block due to things like distractions & too many things going through my head at once. Three distractions are my cat & two dogs.
