A Screamer’s Birthday
A few days later, it was Kevin’s 15th birthday and I was planning something special for him since he was my cousin & roommate. I decided to have it at his old home because it was the first birthday since discovering his mutant powers. I confirmed it with his mom and she said it would be a great idea. She called our relatives while I went to invite the rest of my roommates & my fellow Dino Rangers. I asked Aubrey to get the flowers & other botanical decorations and gave her Kevin’s old address in Angel Grove.
I went to Cyberspace to invite Hayley & Trent to the party and contacted Ethan via an e-mail. I was on my way to invite Conner & the others when my spider-sense went off. I turned my head and saw Tyrannodrones attacking. I enlarged some of my Poké Balls and threw them. Out came my Treecko, Bayleef, Taillow, Noctowl, Squirtle & Mudkip. I told them to help me fight the Tyrannodrones and they did. Taillow & Noctowl combined their Flying-Type attacks as Mudkip & Squirtle hosed down the Tyrannodrones. Treecko & Bayleef used their Razor Leaf attacks as I beat up the remaining Tyrannodrones. The Tyrannodrones retreated and I congratulated my Pokémon on an excellent job before I called them back into their balls. Then I went to tell Conner & the others about the attack.
After I told them what happened, I went to Kevin’s old home to see if the decorations were ready for the party. It was and I cooked the food for it. I made hamburgers with some cayenne pepper in it & a lot of curly fries.
For the cake, I made a quadruple flavored cake with chocolate, lemon, strawberry & vanilla layers. I topped it off with cream cheese frosting & bubblegum flavored icing. I had just finished when I decided to pick up Kevin from Tommy’s place via my son Typhoon Slammer of the Turbobots.
On the way there, we drove by Reefside Harbor and we saw people running & screaming in fear. I couldn’t tell what it was so I told Typhoon Slammer to get closer without looking suspicious. I got a better view the closer we got and what I saw was another monster. I ran a quick DNA scan of it via my glasses, which I had modified when I was a Time Force Ranger, and learned that the monster was part bull, part redwood tree & part bulldozer. He called himself Bullydozer and I contacted the other Rangers. Then I activated my Dino Morpher.
“Dino Thunder, Power Up!” I yelled to become the Purple Dino Ranger.
I pulled out my ThunderMax Saber and struck Bullydozer with it. He didn’t seem to feel it as I hit him several more times before he punched me with the force of a five ton wreaking ball. The punch sent me flying through a brick wall and it hurt a lot but not much. I started getting up when I saw a yellow hand appear in front of me. I looked up and saw Kira with her Ranger helmet on.
“Need a hand?” she asked.
“Yeah. Thanks, Kira.” I said as she helped me up.
“That must have been some hit.” Kira said as we saw Tommy & the others fight Bullydozer.
“It was. I’m just glad that the Adamantium on my skeleton protected me from it.” I said.
The eight of us fought Bullydozer the best we could and we saw Zeltrax & some Tyrannodrones appear. Kevin used his mutant powers to send some of them flying while Sebastian used his Kenti Sword to beat up the rest. Tommy fought Zeltrax as we combined our weapons into the Z-Rex Blaster and defeated Bullydozer with it. Zeltrax retreated as it started to rain again and Bullydozer grew. Tommy called for the Brachiosaurus and our zords came out.
The Dilophosaurus attacked Bulldozer but he didn’t flinch. We jumped into our Dinozords and had them combine into the Thundersaurus Megazord. Bullydozer’s punches were hard & rapid. We needed help and Kevin called out. Luckily, it didn’t hurt our ears. The water started bubbling like something huge was about to surface. Sure enough, something big did surface and it was definitely a friend. It was a brand new zord. The Archelon Dinozord. The Dino Plate on Kevin’s Dino Morpher turned into the Archelon and Kevin activated it.
The Archelon used its flippers to beat up Bullydozer and we commanded it to combine with the Megazord. The Archelon retracted its head & flippers and attached itself to the Megazord’s hand to form the Thundersaurus Megazord Bone Shield Mode.
Bullydozer tried to punch us again but the Archelon Shield reflected the hits right back at him. We powered up the Dino Drill and destroyed Bullydozer with it.
An hour later, we all met up at Kevin’s old house for the party. Kevin & I introduced our relatives, minus my brother, to our friends and they seemed to get along real well. We ate the food that I cooked and everyone seemed to like it. They even loved the cake that I made.
The time came to open presents and we did it outside since the weather was nice and the temperature was great. I gave Kevin my present first and he opened it right away. Inside the present was a Poké Ball. I told him that inside the ball was a new Pokémon. He threw the ball and out came an Onix. I told Kevin that his name was Hard Snake and he was a great Pokémon that could use sound-based attacks like the rest of his Pokémon. Kevin thanked me and I wished him a happy birthday.
Kevin got some other cool gifts like a book of cheat codes from Ethan and a CD signed by Kylee Styles from Kira. Conner gave Kevin a soccer ball that he could practice with and Trent gave Kevin a picture he drew of him as a Pokémon training superhero. Tommy gave him a fossil he found that belonged to a real Dilophosaurus. Aubrey gave Kevin a small flower and Sebastian gave Kevin a brand new basketball. Kevin thanked us all for the gifts and we all went home.

Hey man, thats a pretty cool story. I loved how you were able to include both Power Rangers and Pokemon and I'm glad to see that you're using your imagination to do it, instead of just cramming them together. Great story man. :)
